I don't know if there will be exact copycats of this exact scenario but the precedent that has been set here doesn't require this exact scenario to happen... Stock prices are down across the board in the health insurance sector. Healthcare companies are scared shitless. "Leadership" pages have been wiped. Security companies have their phones ringing off the hook.

You don't need to replicate this exactly to the get the same effect - it really doesn't require another single perfect actor for the same outcome to happen. It could happen again in a very different way.

I've known multiple doctors due to my family largly being people employed in healthcare. I'll put it this way. Half my family is involved in healthcare and the other half is involved in the exotic pet trade (think Joe Exotic tier retards). I think its not just about the executives here - the shareholders are also a part of the puzzle. I mean there's lots of parts of the puzzle overall.

It's like it is totally devoid of soul and personality. It's like an elaborate, well scripted and well rehearsed powerpoint presentation that lulls shareholders into a state where they are maybe oblivious to the horrible machine that they are keeping alive.
But they can't really be entirely oblivious since UnitedHealth has been mentioned in many lawsuits and there's even a pretty good video about how they're faggots from more than a year ago on YouTube:

I know people say this violent act gives them mixed feelings and it does for me as well and I hope that not only do the other executives have a rethink about their business model in this and other industries but also the shareholders realize the kind of "infinite growth/money printer" shit they're investing in is a net-negative for society - perhaps that is one of the reasons the share price and the share price of other similar companies has fallen too.

I guess people need to make more documentaries and coverage about these companies that is more accessible so people are a bit more aware of it. Maybe if the executives were unwilling to change the way they were doing things even after getting antitrust lawsuits and other legal challenges... if there had been more awareness that this company was terrible at least some shareholders would've divested and felt that it wasn't "morally right" to financially benefit from a company like this... then maybe a CEO wouldn't have had to be shot in the first place.

There's a lot of things that can change for the better that don't require bullets.
