My guess is they are actually on flights or about to be on flights, the whole Vegas saga was pretty much the after party that they decided to stream since they had to end the show early.

I liked the rv/Las Vegas arc. There were a lot of technical difficulties, but I enjoyed the seat-of-the-pants, last-minute spontaneity of it, and having the fish be out in the world instead of trapped inside the whole time. They had some cool stuff happening too; getting kicked out of the hotel, shooting machine guns and getting a terms of service strike from youtube, the tunnels, and the janky but fun Ball Bros concert. Even the panhandling contest was fun to watch.

I've been on a few road trips where all we had was a full tank of gas, the clothes on our backs, and the cash in our wallets, and the rv arc reminded me of those chaotic but unforgettable adventures.

I think that keeping them in the house and making them suffer before they've earned the adventure arc is the only way it would work though. Fans and a-logs would wreck it if they tried a whole season outside (unless it was on their property like 2.5).

I don't see what difference it makes. Jobe probably would've agreed to be a fish at the normal pay rate as the other fish, and he would've behaved the same unless told otherwise.

Edit: Also like Sam has said before, it's a pretty standard reality show contract. I doubt a single one of them says "If you win, we are absolutely 100% no arguments obligated to pay you the full amount of the prize said on the show no matter what." which is what you're basically asking for.
