Diseased Rowling Derangement Syndrome - "TERF/Woke Author Bad!!1"

She should write the script for a Silence of the Lambs remake
That... Could... Work? I don't see why she can't make a movie about an unhinged transvestite trying to by definition skin walk as a woman. She does have the experience with those type of people. It would generate a lot of seethe, too.

In my heart of hearts she lurks in the Lolcow Salon. Maybe the Beauty Parlour. They got ZEST there. Zest and chutzpah.
Heck just the idea that she knows about KF is enough for me, and you know she does; you’re not gender critical for very long without running into the farms from one place or another.

If we go by the rule that "most people who have threads and know about them secretly lurk", then hello JK or one of her millennial children, keep up the good fight.

Now that Snape has been blackwashed for the show, I can imagine the struggle for RDS havers. Watch Rowling's show to own the chuds, or still ignore it because Rowling is British Hitler?
Sorry, but I don't believe for a second that they seriously would cast a dude like that for Snape, it makes zero sense. Was his name written right below Snape as the guy to play Shacklebolt or something? The titles of the articles I saw try to sell it as a done deal but then call it just a rumor that he was allegedly offered the role. This is probably crazy conspiracy theory talk, but I wonder whether it was made up to generate a retarded controversy, call everyone against it "right wing" and maybe even get Rowling to put out a "lol no Snape is not black" tweet so they can call her racist or whatever. I refuse to believe a supposed "true to the books" series will go for major race swap castings when Snape's looks are clearly described.

I could've sworn I saw that he actually got the role, damn, my bad. It still would make for an interesting split for those with RDS. Blackwashing is totally hecking awesome, but Rowling is also Voldemort except real. Of course as amusing as that could be I'd never want the blackwashing to go through.

Josh should ask her to go on MATI. Imagine the thermonuclear meltdown of tranny seethe. It would be GLORIOUS
Someone from here with a youtube channel should just interview her, this place does not get given enough credit by Youtubers
I'd like to see a weekly podcast with Rowling, Anna Slatz & Ana Kasparian. At this point I think they collectively have zero fucks to give, and are smart & enough to be funny about it.

Invite guests like Josh, Meghan Murphy and Posie Parker to discuss free speech. Hell, invite Elon Musk.

There's probably a good name based on all three being called some version of "Anna" (The Free Annas?) but it's late and I have whisky.

Do an early access subscription deal with the proceeds going to XX rape/refuge homes.

I apparently thought "Blocked & Reported" and "Podcast of the Lotus Eaters" was worth paying for so this would certainly be worth coin.

Didn't they already do a round of this with talking about casting a mixed race girl as hermione? If this keeps happening it could be that they're basically throwing out roles hoping to find which one the public will allow to be black so that they can diversify by public consent, but it's not likely to be any of the big characters, people are already attached to the characters as they actually are, and if they randomly sprinkle non-white people in the extras that will also not be good enough.

If they do go ahead with black Snape I think they'll probably play up the Tragedy of Unrequited Love from the beginning and there won't be any of him being basically a roald dahl villain for the first three or so books.

edit: Umbridge and Trunchbull would have eloped and Snape would have absolutely loved to run an aggressively unwhimsical version of the chocolate factory where there's a magic potion river and the children still die because of their moral failings like being an arrogant shit / wannabe celebrity.

I don't like any of these.

JK, in her progressive era, said she loved the idea of a black Hermione and one got cast in a stage play, I think. Even though she had described her as white in the books. Same goes for Snape.

But, it wasn't an intrinsic part of her, or his, character. Look at Ford Prefect from Hitchhikers Guide: on TV he was white, on film he was black. In lore he was from Betelgeuse, and David Dixon and Mos Def both nailed it.

People are people. Even the black ones and Russians.

Yeah in Cursed Child, but a stage play isn't going to be the reference point for that generation of kids watching it the way a film will be, so film casting tends to be less flexible. As far as I remember there's not much physical decription in the hitchhiker books, so reading it you know you've all got your own interpretation ... if the book has gone out of its way to make everyone reading it have a shared vision of the characters and world, why does that shared experience need to be changed?
