2024 Syrian opposition offensives - The first Syrian rebel offensive against Government forces since March 2020

I bet dollars to donuts that if Poland got involved they would crush Russia right now.
I have a better idea, let's give Ukraine around 200 Leopard tanks, 300 Bradley IFVs, 30 Abrams, 12 Challenger IIs, 1000+ other modern Western IFVs, 1500+ MRAPS, let's train entire companies in NATO tactics, let's offer NATO's entire space ISR assets to Ukraine, oh and let's give them Storm Shadows and ATACMS, they will crush the Russians for sure!

Nah we should send them some tomahawks and Taurus cruise missiles.

Wasn't Russia backing Assad during the civil war over there? i haven't really looked much into Syria since 2016ish, but i remember Western countries propped up groups that went on to become ISIS. The whole thing was like a cold war era proxy war shitshow. I guess Russia being bogged down in Ukraine the past couple of years left Assad severely weakened and his regime got overwhelmed by funded rebel groups.

a-) The largest country in the world with the most natural resources due to its sheer landmass.
By that logic Canada is a stronger country than the US

Hell, by this logic the fucking Congo is a stronger country than half of Europe

b-) The manufacturing capital of the world, the now largest economy in the world in PPP terms.
Ah yes, being utterly dependant on the west for economic survival, and having cheaper cost of living because of muh PPP really scream "superpower 2020" loud enough to drown out the fact they are barely holding shit together as of now and are scheduled for a demographic shitstorm

Given russia had to beg north korea for troops and equipment to defend its own territory in the last few months, throwing these few crumbs seems to have done quite nicely. Well worth the cost of fucking over the glorious multipolar alliance without even getting involved in the fighting

There was a time when cerno had decent takes but his seeming inability to relax and take a step back from the news is making him come off as increasingly unhinged.
You mean his insane ranting about how Jews are blood drinking neanderthals didn't tip you off that the guy is insane?

Explain why Russia hasn't already taken Ukraine then.

Oh, you're right, it took you 6 months to REFURBISH 30 tanks which is even more embarrassing, since the US makes ZERO tanks a year, truly an industrial superpower.
the US has around 6000 Abrams in storage, they're not building new ones because they don't need new hulls, much like how Russia is actually building few new tank hulls and has been chewing through their storage

Laughs in Western Supremacy!
the best part of this is its weakend Iran and Russia geopolitically to exhert hard power in the region to only supporting proxies in soft power. That and Israel grabbed alot more land to create a buffer in Golan on the Syrian side.
