Canada is a failed state

  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.
Sigh...

Appalachia is looking nice right now.

Promise to bring my own teeth, could even provide some for the less fortunate.

Banjo lessons by appointment.

IDGAF what realtors say my house is worth, nobody will buy it at that price:

Good luck buying a 'house' for $850K in Vancouver, all I see is 1.5M for a knocker-downer to 3M for a normal bungalow.

I wish we would get a third party that had policies like
a) requiring foreign students to have employment in the same exact trade as their education or they get sent home
b) complete crackdown on foreign students working while at classes, with a blanket ban on any work that isn't allowed by a)
c) crackdown on students, schools, and companies exploiting loopholes - with a tattle hotline where you can get like $750 depending on the confirmed infraction
d) crackdown on foreign investors holding real estate
e) cancellation of all government funding and assistance that is solely abused to the detriment of the citizens
f) full audit of how contracts are granted by the government
g) switch to ranked ballet voting
h) create a mechanism where citizens can force a snap election, such as a number of votes across the nation
i) encourage the growth and development of fully Canadian owned businesses
f) form a department focused on identifying regulations across any industry that needs to either be deregulated to promote industry or regulated to improve safety, with an online system where citizens can submit and sign petitions for specific requests
g) CANDOGE

I voted and donated to PPC last time around, I wish they had turned into something better. We get it, Pierre is definitely going to disappoint in some areas but I think he will also take the boot off my neck in some important ways.

I’m not in love with any politician, I will never fully get what I want, and I am not going to get fulfillment in politics because mine are not majority opinions. Oh well.

I can keep pushing flawed Con politicians for my preferred policies with arguments and money. I am the enemy class to the currently ruling Lib government. And I need that to stop. Pierre doesn’t hate my guts to the point he’d do bad things to the whole country just to punish people like me.

Trump pulled Justin’s pants down in Mar-A-Lago, Justin flew home and immediately lashed out at my class by threatening gun confiscations because we thought it was funny and he can reach us and not Trump.

I just don’t give a shit about Bernier taking shots at his former colleagues on X anymore.
I voted PPC in the last two elections and I kept hoping that we'd get more out of it, since the 'cons' won't conserve sweet fuck all.
It doesn't matter to me whether you vote for Pollivere or not since it looks like the Cons will be getting an overwhelming victory anyway, but if you don't think pajeets haven't infiltrated the CPC as well, I have a bridge to sell you.
I haven't voted cons since they bitched out about vaccine passports.
I think this about essentially every party in the country.
Do Jeets speak French? I assume the Bloc is also trying to find a way to pander to Jeets?
The bloc wants to import niggers from former french/belgian colonies instead, since they "speak" "french"
Ever seen Montreal? Not as many jeets, but a ton of alergians and fucking haitains since they speak the loopy pig tongue. YMMV on which is worse.

According to Brave AI:

Forming a Canadian Political Party

Based on the provided search results, here’s a step-by-step guide on how to form a political party in Canada:

Step 1: Choose a Unique Name

  • Reserve a party name with Elections Canada or the relevant provincial/territorial electoral authority (e.g., Elections Alberta, Elections Ontario).
  • Ensure the name is not already in use by another registered party.
  • Consult the list of reserved and registered party names to verify availability.

Step 2: Meet the Qualifications

  • In Canada, there is no formal process for starting political parties. Parties typically coalesce around a particular idea or cause.
  • However, to register as a federal party, you’ll need to meet one of the following qualifications:
    • Complete a petition containing at least 250 signatures from eligible electors (0.3% of the total number of electors in the last general election).
    • Run at least one candidate in a general election.

Step 3: Gather Required Documents

  • Federal parties:
    • Statement of assets and liabilities (attested by the Chief Financial Officer).
    • Statement by the party leader indicating the party’s purpose is to participate in public affairs by endorsing candidates and supporting their election.
    • Contact information for the party’s leader, officers, and financial institution(s).
  • Provincial/territorial parties: Requirements may vary; consult the relevant electoral authority for specific documents and information.

Step 4: Register with Elections Canada (Federal) or Provincial/Territorial Electoral Authority

  • Submit the required documents and information to register your party.
  • Elections Canada or the provincial/territorial electoral authority will review your application and notify you of the outcome.

Step 5: Maintain Party Status

  • Federal parties must:
    • Meet the requirements for registration (e.g., maintain a minimum number of members, file financial reports).
    • Comply with Elections Canada’s guidelines and regulations.
  • Provincial/territorial parties: Consult the relevant electoral authority for specific requirements and guidelines.

Additional Considerations

  • Provincial/territorial parties may have additional requirements, such as registering with the province or territory’s elections office.
  • Political activities by public servants may be subject to specific rules and guidelines, as outlined in the Public Service Employment Act.
  • Social media and online activities can blur the distinction between professional and private lives, and employees may need to consult guidelines on acceptable network and device use.
Please note that these steps are based on the provided search results and may not be exhaustive or up-to-date. It’s recommended to consult the relevant electoral authorities and guidelines for the most accurate and current information.
So basically if we get at least 250 voting Canadians to sign we could form our own party as long as we file all the right finance paperwork.
If a few of us who have the time and money to get started, we could form a party and easily gain enough attention and support for those people to make running for the national government their full time job, and possibly get enough votes to have a sizeable impact on election results. Getting the majority is unlikely so it would not be necessary to write complex laws and such at first, but we could easily go from a protest vote to the second to the majority party in a handful of elections.

Nationally there is support for such a party, and with support there is funding. All that's left is the ability to network, organise, and keep skeletons hidden in the closet (which may be tricky for us but doable)

I do remember voting for Conservatives that one time in 2019 the PPC that one time in 2021 because at the time I was confident in them. Now I honestly have very little confidence in any political party.
Every election cycle i hope for a real conservative candidate, but instead all Canadians get are men who want to out cuck Trudeau unfortunately.

we could form our own party
If you're going to form your own party it shouldn't be at the Federal or Provincial levels where all the time and energy is wasted in protest campaigns. It should be at the Municipal level where each candidate can interface directly with the public and offer them a consistent and winnable 'party' campaign at the local level. You'd then use that cadre to influence and pressure the direction of the Conservative party from the outside, so that a vote for them ends up being a vote for you too.

Yeah, as of 2021, the largest immigrant groups in Quebec are all former French colonials. After France (who knows what race, especially these days), the largest is Haiti (7.1% of immigrants), followed by Algeria and Morocco. Their immigration policy is insane and functionally gives priority to blacks and Muslims, because they'd rather them than the English in Montreal.

the biggest change we need is at the top, and federal parties do not need municipal or provincial level parties to prop you up.

Let's say you make a municipal party. Big whoop, even if you get control of that municipality you can't do squat because the federal and provincial governments can exert their pressure on you. You''l just be a footnote in the local news. plus it's really hard to draw interest as you are limited to the people in that particular municipality, while many of your supporters may turn out to be in other municipalities.

Now a federal level party has the ability to influence policy at a nationwide level. Even if they do not gain the majority government, what percentage of votes they hold has a big impact on the policy of the other parties - as they would want to adopt your more common sense policies so that you don't steal their votes. And you can tap into the dissatisfaction of all Canadian citizens. Trudeau is absolutely hated, but the Conservatives are just the lesser evil. That leaves an enormous voting vacuum where a party that knows how to connect to the people through social media can quickly gain a massive amount of support, just by having common sense policies that the people connect to. If a new party started in January and worked at getting registered and signatures and everything by the October hard election date, they could easily gain 20% of the votes. If they had richer people backing them they could easily have enough votes to have major influence on policy.

That's retarded. The failure of the PPC proves this would be a flop.

Best you could hope for is stealing votes from conservatives to hand seats to the liberals or NDP.

good thing that there's so many votes to steal. the conservatives would still be in the lead if you stole nearly half their votes.

I know the whole Trump making Canada the 52nd State was a joke, but should I be worried I'm getting ads from American Military University accepting Canadian applications on Youtube in NS?

Apparently it is a terrible for-profit corporate university. That is funny, though. I'm amazed by the fact they use a pajeet in the image: they obviously know who they are aiming for.

A functioning postal system is a hallmark of a stable, successful country. We seemingly can't even manage that at this point.

I am not taking the side of CUPW or Canada Post, but it is absurd we are about to hit a month without postal service.
Fuck, all my bills overdue.

Just Canadian things.

That's why one should always carry a 'tire thumper' in the vehicle - and not a club, and a 'sharp tool' in their pocket, but never a knife. I am also a fan of heavy umbrellas, but the good ones cost an arm and a leg.
Cousin of mine dated a bobby from London. They have similar laws. He said if youre going to carry a golf club, throw some golf balls in. Baseball bat? Buy a glove to go with it.

You get asked why it's there, you just came back from the driving range, practice, so on.

Plausible deniability.
