Ben Shapiro sure is. Anyway, my point is that the shooter being a commie is politically advantageous to someone like me who wishes that being a communist, Marxist, socialist, and so on was a crime.

The funny thing is that I always figured it more likely someone who leaned right as opposed to someone who leaned left. This was carried out by someone who is at least familiar with the concept of second order effects. American Leftists wouldn't know what an unintended consequence was if it killed them. Sometimes it does and they still never learn.

Now of days, all NYC has going for it is finance. The real estate bubble is gonna pop sooner than later. Culture today is highly decentralized. Back in the pre-internet days, each major city had its own culture scene. Most of the time, what happened in one part of the country didn't really affect the scene in another part. If you lived out in the boondocks, you were pretty much disconnected from everything. Up until the 80s, you really only had radio and maybe a few tv channels. With satellite TV, you did get more. There weren't a lot of job opportunities in smaller cities in the later half of the 20th century. Most jobs were in major cities. If you wanted to make it, the big cities are it.

Living in big cities doesn't really make sense when all you need to interact with the cutlure is an internet connection. And you can get that in the boondocks. It might not be super fast or whatnot, but where there's a will, there's a way. A lot of high paying jobs can be done remotely. Covid accelerated that.

At most he might be guilty of frightening a bystander or two. The people of NYC instantly realized they were no longer in any danger themselves once it was reported the victim was a healthcare CEO. That's a hell of a thing when you think about it.

There is a push by conservatives in recent days to act like what happened to the CEO is what liberals want, and you shouldn't cheer for it. Listening to the end of Gay and Cuck after a meeting this afternoon (where I was completely out of the loop on the Penny thing this morning which was wow, thank God he got free, now leave New York ASAP). My position is you don't condone the murder of someone in cold blood like that but at the same time I don't have to feel sad or worried about a person who allowed his company to destroy the lives of many people to the point United was known as a horrible insurer and horrible employer. To everyone acting like this is a horrible thing that happened, I simply say you've never dealt with insurance claims, especially with older relatives. As I get older, despite them being boomer faggots, the way the elderly are treated is fucking disgusting by these companies.
