Yeah, that last second tip felt incredibly fake. No reaction, no info, nothing, just "uh... guys, I got a 100 dollar tip" and immediately ended the stream after stalling and leaving the slideshow. I'm usually not on the side of thinking Phil fakes tips regularly but any doubter should check this one, especially because he was legit pissed at the one who promised 80 to hit the goal.

So funny how he dips at the speed of light the second the goal is met. Also I guess we're no longer felting the detractors, huh? (seriously, can someone confirm if Phil actually dropped the whole "felt/felting" thing?) First the indies on the chopping block and now Indy.

My prediction for Syria: Phil has no idea about the recent history of Syria (and of course also not of Syria during the Ottoman Empire, middle ages, Roman Empire, Persia, etc, but that's besides it). He probably wasn't even able to find it on a map a week ago, maybe will still mix it up with Iraq or Lebanon. He will not know the major factions or ethnicities in the country and their goals and allies. He will not know who the major foreign powers Russia, Iran, Turkey and USA were / are supporting and why. He will also have nothing to say about the role and interests of Israel.

So all in all, it could be very hard to watch because of the ignorance or very funny because of the complete lack of any substance but maximum confidence in the worth of his opinions.

Gary "What is Aleppo" Johnson could probably tell you more about Syria than The Guy. His take will probably boil down to "Assad was a dictator and that's beeyad ookeh", hell he might even accidentally agree with ISIS.

And wow, I didn't know the source of that meme, Warski looks like a bigger retard than I thought.

He's actually gonna play PoE2? That'll go well. I've been playing a lot since it dropped and he won't have an easy time. It's also very slow and kinda punishes you for not exploring. I'm confident he'll spaz out at the passive tree being huge for a while.

Also there are next to zero guides do good luck to him for cheesing it. I might do a Jimi style thread on this if it's around for more than one stream

I could see this as a pure dent spoon feed game like BG3. Might unironically save the business if he hooks the right dents.

I wonder if he ever checks in on the Raw Phil restream because every single time stream is about to end if he's not at the goal stream viewers go way up and everyone spams stuff like "Troll W." I have a feeling Phil is petty enough to see that and say "fuck it you know what trolls I actually just got $100 yeah I really did snort."

It's fucking insane that he wants big success on the first stream of a new game. He wants instant gratification for a fucking slow-paced open-worlder. As always, his own worst enemy.

The audience gets no time to get into it, they have to decide immediately or he'll wagequit it. Already saying he's not playing it again on the late stream, killing any motivation to invest time for the audience or any momentum it might generate going forward.
