Even if the bullets they pulled out of the CEO were too mangled to make a positive ID, he left the casings behind. They can make a match off of those.

That’s good to know. Still, that’s just one article I used as an example. I am not sure what else lies in the pool of research. The point I’m making is that it’s not moronic to be skeptical of stuff that comes out in a news or police report or even forensic testimony, especially when not all the facts are clear.
