Warhammer 40k

I’d call you autistic and give you the rating but for Iron Warriors that’s beating a dead horse.

You’re also likely gonna get a kill team upgrade sprue. Be grateful your boring, imperfect legion got anything, those poor shattered legion and WE fuckers have nothing.
Tbh Im a wordbearers guy, I just cannot believe GW is still making FW shit, especially for the second best Heresy-era traitor legion.

No shit, don’t Chaos-splain.

I simply noted that of all the god-aligned forces, it is consistently Nurgle and Khornates who work together.
Fatties and PCP enjoyers are well known allies

I think you’re good mixing CSM, MKIII and the upcoming MKII. Maybe it’s the Honsou stuff but I like the idea of IW officers having the “standard” CSM armour while the cannon-fodder just get basic bitch shit that they either looted or have the STC for.
I love the Iron Warrior's hazard stripes and overall industrial aesthetic. Ordered some decals on ebay.

And Perturabo's daemon prince form looks bitchin'.

Get lost, Tony Stark. This is who Black Sabbath had in mind when they wrote "Iron Man".

I personally don't keep his Daemon Prince form a canon. Black Library has mishandled him has a characted for years, to the point that he is either a mustache-twirling villan or he's extremely regretful of betraying the Emperor. On top of that, why would the Primarch of the legion most hesitant to use daemonic forces, to the point that they chop off mutations, do that while their father be a daemon.

Do we have any real post-heresy lore of Perturabo? We've seen Magnus invade Fenris, we've seen Mortarian invade Ultramar, Angron is still smashing shit, but what is Perturabo doing? Has he been moping in his tower for the last 10,000 years?

He was involved with one of the earlier Black Crusades on the logistics side of things, and he lead the Iron Warriors over a dispute with Mortarion over a planet to conquer and only lost due to attrition. Not a lot to say at all, but still more than Lorgar.

I believe the explanation is that Fulgrim’s trick in Angel Exterminatus was going to be fatal, in Slaves to Darkness a plague marine makes Pert an offer on behalf of Nurgle and all but says that he’s losing his strength.

If they go with this then it lines up with the “chop off replace” mentality, trade a dying body for an improvement.

Is that one any good? I'm interested to see how a Spartan sociopath would interact with a flaming femboy.

It’s official - Games Workshop and Amazon Studios have finalised their deal - the creative guidelines are nailed down, and we’re all set to bring Warhammer to the screen. For those of you so inclined, you can read the super jazzy legal announcement here.

But what does that actually mean?

Well, it means we now have synopsis and ordering for the stories we’re going to tell... yep, we said stories! It might have taken a year but it was a year well spent! And what fun - sifting through the enormity of the Warhammer 40,000 universe, debating characters, story arcs and the thematic grit that underpins it all.

So, what’s next? When will the first project hit screens?

It'll be some years. Project One* is about to go into development proper. So, next up is the script/s that will form the basis of everything else to come.

Of course, as with all carefully crafted things, this all takes time... and trust us when we say, everyone involved is las-focused on getting it all just right.

As soon as we know more, we’ll let you know!

In the meantime, don’t forget the Warhammer 40,000 episode of Secret Level is available to watch over on Amazon Prime Video from the 10th December.

So we've had the past 6-10 fucking months of these shitty grifters slapping Cavill's face onto crappy AI generated thumbnails for youtube, swearing up and down that they've all got inside sources telling them that the project has failed, and Cavill will be walking off any day now, and that GW and Amazon weren't going to use the remainder of the contract for coming up with ideas that ends in December, and that it's all doomed, and we're never getting a show, and on and on. Well, turns out they were all full of shit. Endymion TV has what, 50 fucking videos claiming it wasn't going to happen? Fucking morons...

I listened to a few of Endymion's videos and they all seem like "These totally real sources contacted me and they totally are confirming all the spurious rumors that are on the Internet frfr ong!".

Is casting resin GW uses susceptible to plastic rot? If so, they've got planned obsolescence built-in.

Well...

You're probably not subjecting your resin minis to extreme heat and cooling cycles. You're not exposing painted resin minis to UV, because the varnish and paint stops that. You're probably not exposing them to any freeze and thaw cycles. You're probably not exposing them to abrasion by sand or being blown across dirt/concrete/ashphalt or constantly being rubbed against other materials except maybe the base against the mat you're playing on.

I've also never seen anyone complain about FW just falling apart over time, or even finecast with it's multitude of issues. Even old 90s's pre GW forgeword/armorcast/etc. still exists these days without a problem(including being unpainted). I've seen decades old plastic model kits sitting in windows and shit ending up brittle, but that's from heat cycles and UV(being unpainted).

So no?

Don't worry lads I'm sure after this official announcement from both GW and Henry Cavill himself the Amazon deal is sure to fail. In fact I have messages from totally real and inside sources that a bunch a blue haired feminists have already ousted Henry and his team and the first show will tell the story about the misters of battle.
But yeah in all seriousness it won't stop the constant grift machine from people like Endymion saying the show is "doomed", "cancelled", how "they" want him gone or any other shit they can throw at the wall. Since they've mentioned writing the next angle will be script problems , then once filming commenced it will be reshoots galore and the classic Henry is leaving the show, it will never end and its just all so tiresome.

Right, I'm off to GW to fix this issue. Thanks.
What issue? GW plastic is just high impact polystyrene, and the resin... is resin. Except in some weird instances of manufacturers screwing up amounts so it doesn't cure right and they ship floppy or oozing parts to customers(privateer press comes to mind), or you do something like soak it in rubbing alcohol(I've seen this with otherwise decent recasters) that does something to the components and again makes it soft, I've never heard of "plastic rot" that didn't involve some weird shit from manufacturing like 80s gold plastic on action figures crumbling apart over time(gold plastic syndrome).

Now shitty recasters(not all of them do this) cheap out on their resin, but that's not GW's fault and even then that's mostly just a matter of... paint your stuff and don't leave it in the elements. If you've got some other kind of weird fungal plastic rot thing going on, you've got other problems.
