I've been rewatching early season 3 kind of just reminiscing about the season and my god man, day 3 where Sam and Ben bring out the TV and show them the trailer and tell them Simmons edited it and they are totally unaware of what Simmons did. It's so good, just the best shit ever. The show may have gone to shit for the last week but the first 30 days were so good it doesn't matter to me.

The Gay Ben assistant producer shit was really fucking funny.
I always like Ben but this Season I think was his best. He was great.

I think out of the fish my opinion of mizzy has increased the most.
She actually seems pretty cool, she has a cool computer set up for her music, she's competent at doing interviews and doing twitch stuff or whatever.
Like she seems way better at this stuff than Binx, when supposedly it's what Binx does.

The Gay Ben assistant producer shit was really fucking funny.

Ben killed it this season. He fully committed to the bit and didn't break character even when Sam would laugh or be smirking. It was extremely impressive acting.

Honestly Famous House 1.0 was arguably the best Fishtank has ever been. Multi-layered gaslighting combined with the story of the Fish slowly finding cracks in their "reality show." The cast was mostly perfect. Either you loved them or you loved to hate them. The Computer and Hulu gaslights were both top tier. Production still gave somewhat of a fuck to not fall into their old habits, and in some cases went above and beyond (it couldn't have been easy to make that Hulu trailer in 3 days).

Surprising finds in Alex and Burt elevated it to something unbelievable. Everything seemed so unique and fresh. Even if the challenges weren't exactly masterpieces it didn't matter because the gaslight and the cast would carry them towards greatness. It leaned towards the friendtank and neptunian side of the scale, but it was never overdone to the point of nontent. You could fill an entire evening with content just from Alex saying the n-word or an Israel DNA test ad.

Pretty sure those contra cts say something to the effect of "there may be a winner of $50k" as well as language saying the prize can be canceled by production at any time for any reason. And if not they got fucked by their lawyers because television reality shows certainly have that kind of language in the contracts.

These girls aren't even that hot and their personalities are usually shit (and they almost always have boyfriends). Sure, it's nice when your favorite streamer reads your chat message or likes a meme you posted but that doesn't justify dropping thousands on them because you think that'll make them want to fuck you.

It's not about thinking they will fuck you, it's just wanting their attention.

I liked this podcast a lot, felt like the perfect show for me. I decided to finally pay $5 a month as a way to throw some spare change at the creator. That allowed me discord access.

I was fucking shocked. A whole cult of personality around this guy, with paypigs lining up to fund this guys life. He would demand free games from them, and then say the game sucked and they owed him another. Funny shit. And the paypigs knew they were the butt of the joke but they couldn't stop themselves.

I left that place and went back to enjoying the show how I previously did lol.

Season 3 was really the first time gaslighting on a large scale has worked on the show. Season 1 was mostly fans as was 2 and blood games was a recast of those first two seasons. They were in on the jokes, knew who Sam was and knew they were being fucked with. When production tried to do something ridiculous 9 times out of 10 the fish would know it was BS ahead of time. Season 3 stands out as the first time in Fishtank history they actually pulled off gaslights as big as the Hulu stunt. To me this makes it the best of the series. I cannot praise this season enough. I think they really knocked it out of the park.

She really is an atrocious streamer. I tried to tune in for a while when she was watching clips. Not only was the audio drowned by various follower/sub alerts being spammed over and over again, when she was watching a clip she was linked (be it from a Fishtank season, old MDE stuff or otherwise) she would skip through 60% of the clip missing all of the context, watch 20 seconds, pause before it even ended and then move onto the next clip. Even when the clips were playing she was just looking at chat or searching for the next clip title most of the time.

Mizzy's streams have been infinitely better and she is unironically a much better entertainer and reactor. Binx needs to go back to her desk job.

I think the idea is that they’re epically trolling Sam by bringing up the one sore subject that genuinely gets under his skin. The fact that it’s been tired as fuck for the last 5 years and that it’s primarily being pushed by his absolutely deranged drug addict ex is seemingly irrelevant to them.

I can kind of understand this.

I used some of my 600 fish tokens that came with the account to buy a ball for the Las Vegas Ball Bros concert about 3 hours before the show.

I've never done anything like this before; never bought a tts, never signed up for a patreon, never bought a paid membership or donated to a YouTube channel before. The closest I've ever come is buying merch twice; a Kiwi Farms shirt, and a Salty Cracker shirt, and then, y'know, I got a shirt instead of just sending money.

I was stupidly excited for the entire 3 hours before the Ball Brothers concert. Then, when they had so many technical difficulties in the club, I started to get mad, because I thought there'd be no way I'd hear my ball being called. But then, by some miracle, the background music stopped, and I heard Sam drop a pretty sick rhyme for my ball, and I was cheering in my room like an idiot. It made me feel like I was a part of the show for that 2 - 3 seconds, and I also felt like I cheated fate by getting my money's worth.

I'll never be a big paypig, sending $400 plushies or funding bed snatches or even spending cash on tts. I may never even buy another ball. I'll definitely spend the fish tokens that come with the pass, though. Now I understand the whole parasocial aspect of the paypig phenomenon a little better.

I mean, Wild Randy was just some guy dropping cash on tts to fuck with Alex, and now Wild Randy is a permanent part of Fishtank history (might have been staff, but we'll never know). Binxknight got noticed by the audience too, although his content wasn't funny. He did get Binx's attention, which is what he wanted. In his own, cucked way, he's part of Fishtank history too.
