This lawsuit isn't actually looking to win, it's to force JT to spend 5 figures defending a lawsuit that Alyssa can file for free because she's being backed by an LFJ associated law firm pro-bono and to get JT's home address out there so Alyssa's followers can fuck with him in person.

Alyssa wants people to be afraid that if they call her a dumb whore on Twitter they might get sued as well.

Seriously, one of the claims is that he "impugns the chastity of Alyssa Mercante" by suggesting she sucks dick for financial gain. Something she openly has talked about doing, in public, on twitter. "But that was a joke," she'll say. Well, so was him repeating it.

Yes, this is a lolsuit. But because it's clown world it's going to cost him $250k or so and years of work to clean up, even though she hasn't a single legally actionable claim except MAYBE defamation.

I remember the Gamergate years here. I don't recall Mercante at all from that period and everyone involved with the Gamergate was talked about here. This is stolen valor from the real BPD whores of Gamergate like Leigh Alexander, Zoe Quinn, and of course Gamergate's biggest victim Brianna Wu.
