General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

my post is mostly directed to average and peak CCV on an average day, not mouse for example being in a Rust server event with guaranteed 20k+ CCV, examples being Filian or Neuro having higher CCV than her one day than the next day she has a higher CCV, Usually its slightly less or above 10k, While Gura can pull 20k-40k CCV and than just fuck off and get the same number again like not other hololive EN member comes close.

The amount of times Twitch has kissed her ass, I was atleast expecting she would have a return on investment of getting the same CCV as Gura on an average day not her having 8k and filian having 9k somewhere within a week.
CCV genuinely doesn't mean shit in terms of "return on investment" but I know your dumbass only exists to regurgitate /vt/ schizoid posts without an ounce of critical thought.

Twitch promotes her (and just for the record that billboard isn't just her it's a twitch recap advertisment that goes over a number of streamers on the platform) because she is a big money maker for them. Her high watch time especially with her subathon shit translates to high ad revenue (you can have a 10th of Gura's CCV but if you're streaming 100x more you're creating more ad revenue on the site than she would), on top of the money they already make off of her subscriber count.

How does that comparison with Vstats and Ironmouse's Weekly stats prove anything?, its deliberately comparing something from a week total and the cumulative views from Jan-Nov

Scaling Ironmouse's stats from that week to barely 3 months mogs everyone in that image in hours watched
View attachment 6740798

I dont even like defending the tungsten aids rat but its still a dishonest and retarded comparison
Blackjack is being retarded for comparing 1 week stats to cumulative views for the year but Ironmouse mogs everyone because she never stops streaming. From January 1st to today, she's streamed 3,013 hours out of the ~8,250 hours available while no one in that Vstat chart has even broke 1k hours streamed. For that "3 months" stat you linked, she's streamed 1,031 hours out of the 2,160 hours available. Watch hours are the last metric to look at when discussing Ironmouse because she streams nonstop since she can't touch grass and Twitch funnels endless amounts of attention her way as she's basically Twitch's vtuber mascot at this point.

EDIT: Just remembered that its also retarded to compare watch hours between Twitch and Youtube because youtube culls CCV while twitch doesn't.

Its not a matter of mogging in terms of no-lifeing yourself with hours put in, its more of the matter of why her own fan base cant grow despite all that hard work? What filters her from a growing audience? Is it talking about her chronic illness every other day, while Gura tries to shut up about hers most of the time? Is the organization so painfully liberal that they cant get the conservative fanbase on their side(America is 50/50 not liberal like western europe)? They pandering too much to troons while chuds mostly watch Vtubers?

Reason you have viewers is they have some sort of interest in you and those that have interests in continuation of watching your streams can be considered fans. Its so fucking hard for me to catch a Gura stream but its more than evident that no other vtuber that is an EN vtuber comes anywhere close to being compared to her. With ironmouse you can compare her average and peak CCV being higher than Filian and Neuro one day but another day you would have Filian or Neuro having more viewers or a higher peak CCV. Gura's average CCV is like 20k+ and usually can peak to 40k CCV+ which is safe to say she is at a higher league than those 3,

I get the mutual benefits shit that mouse makes money for Twitch to shill her in return, but wouldn't it be wise for the company to figure out why they get filtered so hard from gaining a growing fanbase before they throw more money at Twitch? Its like buying a new AC when the problem was a tripped breaker

Twitch is ran by turbo retarded leftists. They will eagerly let the company suffer as they keep trying to "own the chuds".

I forget which video I saw exposing it, but a streamer had a camera pointed up at her see through plastic chair while she wore a thong, and it was fine. But if a vtuber shows hips it's a problem.

Twitch either needs to pretend it's not a soft core porn site, or STFU and go full steam ahead.

I'm not mad if you have rules/standards, but I will get mad if you selectivly enforce them, and tell me I'm wrong/dumb for noticing it.

She has grown year over year and this year alone literally broke a twitch record. You're still getting hung up on CCV in all the wrong ways like a retard.

Using Gura as the counterpoint without taking into account that a high CCV average is easier to manage when you stream 6 times a year and half of those streams are special events like birthdays anniversaries and outfit reveals (these types of streams naturally have a high CCV draw, and in a pool of significantly fewer streams each one drives the average up higher). Add on to this that with how little she streams it basically turns any opportunity where she does decide to show her face into a mini holiday of it's own because it's so damn rare. None of this is to say Gura isn't popular of fucking course she is, but these are all factors that tend to inflate CCVs and averages as well. Conversely someone who's living half their life live on twitch the way mouse does has shit like her subathons where hours upon hours of the stream content is, she's just asleep, and people tune out, driving down averages.

But again this all neglects the realization that CCV is not the all important metric you seem to believe it to be. Someone can have a massive CCV but zero audience engagement massively limiting their potential earnings while someone with a lower average viewership can have an extremely dedicated and engaged audience and make a fortune. The only people that mindlessly focus on metrics like CCV in this way are numbermonkeys on /vt/ and retarded shareholders that don't actually understand how the sausage is made and just think "More number = More Gooder"

None of this is particularly rocket science and should be obvious if you just.... think about it for 2 seconds.

The real reason Ironmouse can't get so many subs is because she streams on Twitch, which has a miniscule userbase compared to Youtube. Far less people, and likewise a smaller fraction that are into vtubers.

Not to mention you have to pay for subscriptions, rather than subscriptions being free on YouTube
