Philosophy Tube / Oliver Lennard / Oliver "Olly" Thorn / Abigail Thorn - Breadtube's Patrick Bateman.

What??? What the fuck is this shit? Fuck off, Olly. Give me my hats.

Lesbian manicure (alternatively queer manicure) refers to keeping two fingers from the dominant hand from receiving nail extensions in order to perform digital penetration. The fingers used are usually the index and middle, but according to Chube in Britain is middle and ring.

I'm willing to build on my original post on stuff that doesn't make me think about Chube fingering someone.

Amusingly nobody on /r/PhilosophyTube subreddit has any interest in discussing it

There's one post from 18 days ago (when it launched on Nebula) with 4 comments; three of them are just talking about Baldur's Gate 3.

Possibly his "no backseat acting" rule put people off actually discussing the content of the video.

It amuses me that the fingers used are supposedly different across the pond like it’s the side of the road you drive on or something.

What is he talking about? I'm drawing a blank. Curious and so out of character of him not to signal boost such belligerent transphobia. Is this like the time he accused The Telegraph of transphobia for writing that his character in The Prince had a black eyeshadow fetish? Digging through The Times' archives, I can't find a single mention of Abigail Thorn, and their review of the HotD S2 finale doesn't gender Sharako Lohar at all...

ok, it's probably this in an article on teenagers accessing DIY HRT:
Harry told us his authentic self was a woman during the second wave of lockdowns. That was the period from November 2020 to the following spring. He was 15. Teachers were doing their best to provide work but he spent a lot of time online. He watched a YouTube channel, Philosophy Tube, which involved a man in his late twenties talking about philosophy. One day, the presenter transformed himself into a woman and appeared on the video with make-up, long hair and wearing a dress.
This is bad because the presenter of Philosophy Tube, actress writer philosopher Abigail Thorn fka [deadname], was always a woman essentially and must be described as such even during her 27 agonizing years of ruddy laddish past. She who lit upon so many screens in the form of man was merely hidden by mask and chrysalis... only a fool would mistake mask and chrysalis for truth! And "transformed himself," that's the worst of it; it suggests that she consciously enacted the change into woman, which is cool when Abi says "transition should be accessible to anyone who chooses it" but offensive when she needs you to recognize that her womanhood is innate and immutable so really there was no change at all.

I assume he didn't share this article because he was doing HotD press when it dropped and chose not to let it spoil the high of recognition (however mixed) for his desired career. Maybe he even realized on some level that inspiring teenagers to DIY hormones does not make him look good.

I know, but do troons know they made it up and it has nothing to do with normal real lesbians? Why are they still pushing annoying sex shit like this when their movement is disgusting more normies than ever?

ETA - I'd like to ask Juno Dawson if it is ethical to disobey an unjust law.

For those keeping score at home:
23k views after a whole day. Already changed the thumbnail to place his characters as background to his actor portrait. Not even a third of the video is actually dedicated to acting and you could understand more about the craft by reading the foreword on a Wikipedia entry. I wish we could get a KingCritical style response on his understanding of acting techniques alone.

Aim higher with your Christmas wishes. I wish that we get a catty aside in a Phoebe Waller-Bridge interview, about this weirdo who was harassing her that thinks they can act, and who made a 30 minute YouTube video praising their own terrible performances.

How retarded lol:

“Something else I like to do is recreate a character’s core memories, from their backstory. So when I played Jess in Django for Sky and Netflix, one of the key things I was told about her was that when she was a child, her father tried to drown her in a horse trough. So I ran a bath in my apartment and I put my own hand on the back of my head and I pushed my head down into the water. Safely, obviously, I wasn’t in any real danger. But I was just trying to recreate that physical sensation of the water being in my nose and my ears and my eyes. To try and conjure up this imaginary traumatic memory for her.”

It would make a smidgen of sense if he had been in the vicinity of a vagina within the decade.

Says he uses LABAN every time he gets stuck and even uses it on voice acting. Once again, I can't help but notice how stiff he is with his arms and I already made fun of his voice acting.
Ive been obsessing with accents and voice acting a bit as of late and this "LABAN" Technique is horseshit. The way you do good delivery is only by looking at the character design and writing, this will indicate where youre character is from and their societal position. Like any other media job, youre generally required to be very knowledgeable in a variety of non media related subjects - Regional accents, how location/ethnicity affects accents, how body shape affects accents, regional dialects, vocabulary differences between social classes, how demeanour affects word pronunciation things like that. For example, Rhodesian English and Australian English is very different to British English despite all three being practically the same ethnically, this is because of weather differences in the southern hemisphere. It induces nasality to the way words are pronounced as breathing is different. Australia is also drier than Rhodesia so those two accents are different as well albeit less different. Minute differences and things like that you are supposed to know as a voice actor which I dont think Choob knows at all and just goes with generic slutty comic relief accent/pronunciation for every role. That Draculas Girlfriend trailer was one of the most cringe things Ive ever watched.

As plain old Olly Lennard, his style reminded me a lot of David Pacman. It's that little boy voice and, "Hey, guys, don't come at me, I'm just trying to figure this all out, I was born yesterday", schtick. It's a defence mechanism, albeit a somewhat undertstandable one. I certainly don't have the thick skin needed for youtube politics. In Olly's case though, I think it also betrays his complete lack of passion for the things he used to talk about. It's almost as if he's saying to any potential critics, "Cut me some slack, I'm just here to be famous like Contra."

Of course, as Abby, he was able to drop any philosophical pretenses and just focus on his kinks and, thus, we get a much more invigorated and confident man.

Just firing a gun isn't too hard, but does he actually know how to ride a horse?
Riding horses is also really easy, kids can be taught to ride before they know how to walk ffs. Training an adult for the role to do both would be like a day. The Lara croft actress also and most importantly needs to know how to act, which rules out Ollie. And you know not a man.

God I hate method actors.
Next time, can somebody on set tell him his character's backstory includes having to quit an acting career after being forced to realise they cannot act for shit?
There's an old story about Dustin Hoffman explaining to Lawrence Olivier his process for getting into character for Marathon Man. Olivier's response was "My dear boy, why don't you try acting? It's so much easier."
Why are they still pushing annoying sex shit like this when their movement is disgusting more normies than ever?
I'm going to go out on a limb here, but what if it's all a fetish and that's all it ever has been.

Where would casting directors find a tall, slim, posh and brunette woman for the role? I don't know, maybe every actress out of the UK for the past 30 years?

Actresses from Britain are pretty much exclusively of that description now because no one here can afford to get into the arts anymore unless they're being funded by the bank of mum and dad
