Ukrainian Defensive War against the Russian Invasion - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

Why does everyone conveniently forget the 2014 coup in ukraine?
No one forgets. It happened because people wanted to get out of russias sphere of influence. If there wasn’t enough support, if being in Russia's sphere of influence didn't suck balls, it wouldn’t have succeeded. Why is it that all of their neighbors hate them? Perhaps it’s because the Soviets murdered, pillaged, and mismanaged everything? And the current russian administration is composed of ex-kgb and the inner party who pine for the good ole days? Fuck off.
This war was years in the making, planned for and implemented by the united states government. This is clown town.
The war can end at any time. The Russians just need to leave. It’s not the USA’s fault that Russia is retarded and can’t properly carry out a three day operation to lower the curve of the ho ho holocaust. Russia is acting like it’s the 18th century and fighting a pointless war which has cost it its friends in Africa and Syria. The smart play would’ve been to give it time and to intimidate Ukraine. Now its cover is blown, its hand is played, and Russia will have to get on its knees for China. For all intents and purposes they’re a Chinese vassal now and a hallowed out caricature of their former power and glory.
Even the title of this thread is a joke. "Ukraine's defensive war" the framing is just absurd.
Did you not read the op or are you retarded? We had one thread but you ziggers didn’t like people disagreeing with you so they made two threads.

In the original thread I thought Ukraine was toast like most everyone else but then the Russians retreated and its dragged on for nearly three years now. If Russia was 1/10th as strong as they claimed it would’ve ended in days or weeks. It’s not my fault that you all get your fee fees hurt at the constant lolcow antics of the Russian state, like retreating after what should have been a killing strike on kiev.
Did people already forget about america lying about weapons of mass destruction and invasing iraq? Just sweep epstein island under the rug. Jeffrey epstein?
That’s what about-ism. Just because America was retarded with Iraq it doesn’t mean that Russia isn’t embarrassing itself in Ukraine. Epstein? Fuck him and his handlers.

Seriously you traitors (assuming you’re in the west and emblematic of its inbreeding) should just neck yourselves and save us the hassle of rounding you up.

Fuck off wigger to your designated shitting thread. And for the sake of God please read the ops before wasting everyone else’s time with your mouth breathing takes. And in all seriousness please neck yourself or transition and spare the White race from your inferior genes.

Your questions about the thread could’ve been answered if you weren’t a lazy shit that didn’t read.

Edit
If I went to the Russian thread and posted the same bullshit you did here I would be rightfully called a faggot. Lurk moar new fag and learn to read highlights before posting your dumbass drivel.

I know I shouldn't feed the trolls but...

This is after NATO broke the minsk accords by trying to get ukraine to join them and effectively expanding into russian territory.
Only if by "effectively" you mean "not". Ukraine is not, in fact, Russian territory.

Just sweep epstein island under the rug. Jeffrey epstein? Oh yeah, he wasn't mossad blackmailing powerful people. Plus he's dead so it doesn't matter.
This is truly a galaxy-brained take. It's okay for Russia to invade Ukraine because of... Jeffrey Epstein.

This entire time, ukraine is being funded by the american gestapo
Are you lost? The zigger cope cage is thataway: https://kiwifarms.st/threads/russian-special-military-operation-in-the-ukraine.150029/

I love it (lol no) when we get idiots who can't read anything that's been posted up about the geopolitics of the situation. I mean yeah its almost a thousand pages with more than a few detours, but Christ, I think we should do a write-up of our views regarding the events that have happened and then petition Null to put it in the OP so thread-shitters like this guy have no excuse.

From what I understand, the Russian fiber-optic drones are connected to a man-portable base station & receiver, which is then controlled from distance by a normal transmitter/controller some distance away. The base station can act as a repeater as well, and so can be used for boosting range of traditional drones.

So to deploy they drop off/set up the drones & base, then fuck off to a safer rear area inside range of their controller. Ideally they're emplaced in a concealed & elevated position, like a roof top, hill, etc; then they can sit and wait for targets. The fiber optic cable itself has very little tension as it plays out, and spools fast enough to go between & settle over obstacles without snagging or breaking.

Supposedy a few FPV pilots chasing wired drones have purposely cut the fiber optic with their rotors without crashing, but I haven't seen definite video of it (yet). And it seems like Russian fiber optic drones also fly slower than standard FPVs, not even requiring an interceptor type.
Okay so they are basically using it as a cheap wire guided missile setting it up close to the front and the more capable personnel guide it in from there. Honestly pretty cool though I still think the range limitation probably hurts it's ability to be used when the front is dynamic.

@sodomy lifestyle
- the industrial base to churn out artillery shells, drones and other items of critical value in a prolonged war.
NATO European members had the industrial base already in place. Just like the United States with Clinton's Peace Dividend, they destroyed most of their military industrial base in the 1990ies. With the Cold War being over and Russia wasn't causing trouble in western Europe, although were doing so in eastern Europe. Most notably with Moldova, and Georgia which have came back to bite everyone in the ass. As it had been considered acceptable behavior by the western TPTB and let it slide since it wasn't seen as a North American and Western European problem.

I have complex feelings. You're a Russian that bucks the worst impulses of his own government and for that? My heart weeps for you. Simultaneously, the Russians in the other thread that are rooting for the success of the three year day special military operation and I cannot begrudge them this. It is natural to root for the success of the society to which you belong. I can only hope that you're keeping yourself safe from your own government. Don't get captured.

If you lived under a mafia regime that intentionally keeps the population impoverished and sends people who complain too loudly into labour camps, and that government started a war with the goal of genociding a peaceful brother nation, would you root for them?
If three years later hundreds of thousands are dead, hundreds of thousands more are fled, hundreds of thousands more are crippled for life, and nothing has been accomplished beyond wanton destruction on both sides, your economy is in free fall, would you still root for them?

"My country right or wrong" is such a cancerous attitude, and of course the worst kind of politicians encourage it because it means they can be as corrupt and incompetent as they want to without pushback.
It also conflates the interests of the country and the interests of those in charge, which do not necessarily align, and in the case of this conflict these are very obviously at odds with each other.

What's funny is they always omit the second piece of the statement.

The full version is "my country right or wrong, if right to be kept right, if wrong to be set right".

This Tusk & Tortoise guy sure got some balls
He talks about Ukrainian requests for a humanitarian corridor that the Russian government denied. I don't know about that, but there's been several requests by Russians for a corridor. One right after the invasion happened, that was completely ignored by the authorities. Then another one maybe a month ago, that was this time cc'd to various internal organisations, to which the Russians responded by saying this the first time they hear of it, and I think that was the end of that also.

He shows in the video that supply is difficult. Remember that the Ukrainians need to supply also all the Russian civilians there and cannot shelter in inhabited houses. So the Russian government has no reason to facilitate any evacuations and strong reasons to oppose it.

Also, Kursk has some of the most elite brigades in the Ukrainian military and gets priority for everything, the situation is not like that elsewhere.

The VKS didn't help Assad, and they're scaling down activities in Ukraine too. What are they up to?

Thanking for the donation of an incredible car.

Talking about the use of civilian cars in the frontline areas, there is an issue with that. Due to accidents, drunk driving, driving without a license, driving without license plates, a number of commanders have begun to enforce the laws prohibiting soldiers from using unregistered personal vehicles.
But the army does not provide vehicles, the soldiers buy these with their own money to use them to transport supplies, wounded, relay orders and such. Registration can take 3 months or even more, and the process is rife with corruption.
Well, that is not the problem of the command. In the meantime, soldiers have started to hide their cars, so they don't get confiscated, which has had an adverse effect on operations.

For once a good song.

Eva Bartlett is unironically a Russian stooge. She is very tied into RT, even showing up at a Russian sponsored Tribunal in July 2022 to discuss the war crimes Ukrainians’ commit.

She has lived in Russia for over 5 years and even went to North Korea to do a piece on how the west lies about North Korea to downplay the crimes they committed and endorse another American-led genocide of the people there.

She’s hardly independent and clearly has an objective bias in showing up in these places and running damage control.

Is there any update on the Russian bases in Syria?
Nothing official. Tartus is completely abandoned*, Russian convoys are running north into Turkey, and a cargo ship for the company that does Russia's mideast sea logistics left Kalingrad empty, enroute to Egypt; it is looking like Russia is collecting all its toys and going home or expecting to. There hasn't been a lot of activity around the Russian bases.

As I understand it, at issue with some of the airbases is that some of the craft are Syrian. Israel has been making a big show of exploding the fuck out of Syrian air assets, but its a bunch of MiG-21s configured as strategic fighter-bombers that were intended to make high-burn runs to gas the jews. Russia was basing some more conventional air-assets and Turkey doesn't want anything Syrian being carried off by the Russians for use in Ukraine.

We'll see how it plays out, but bare minimum signs are showing that Wagner is done.

*the rest of the port is running as normal, and Russia's section was never very big.

That said I wouldn't be surprised if the true end result of this is the new Syrian authorities taking a short-term view of their own prospects and just taking whatever cash or mineral rights or whatever Russia is willing to throw on the table to keep the bases open and supplied as "normal."
this is going to be whatever Turkey wants, pretty much. The roaches are running the show now, and I think its unlikely they are going to allow Russia a presence in Syria. Add to this Russia gets blame for supporting the Assad regime - just not as much as Iran - and I'm pretty sure they're gone. There's a chance the bases might be transferred to Turkey and Turkey may allow Russia to operate from them again depending on how multipolar Er-dog is feeling.

The landmine brigade?

Noticed by this account.
I'm assuming a play on

@Ghostse
Where will the Russian ships go sorry? I thought Turkey was blocking all military ships travelling into the black sea? L
There's not a lot of them. There are 2 corvettes, a missile frigate, a Kilo sub, and an auxiliary (military cargo ship) iirc. Russia has reduced the ships in the "Mediterranean Fleet" from 15 in 2020 (Which iirc was a post cold war peak) to 6; I think there's another non-combatant that might be off getting refit.

Right now they are holding off Syria in international waters. Its possible they're return, but unlikely.

As to where they're go if new Syria refuses Russia their lease, they might just send them on patrol and hit up ports like Libya. Long term, provided things go as their looking and Russia loses Tartus, the ships would likely be reassigned back to the North Sea or Baltic Sea fleets. These are pretty small ships.

Is possible the Auxiliary is allowed into the Black Sea but very unlikely the corvettes/frigate would be. The sub definitely wouldn't but might be able to entire without permission being it is a sub - though Russia is unlikely to want to step to the Turkroach being they are high off of massive, unbelievable levels of winning.

Its really hard to tell what will shake out. Er-Dog likes playing Russia and the US off each other to improve his position. I really wish this had happened after Trump took office because I don't know if Biden's state department is going to make whatever placation the Tuckroaches need to kick the Ruskies out of Syria. I don't know if Trump's would, but I also wouldn't need to worry about them making dumb moves just to ensure the next guys coming behind them don't look good.

Is there a basis for this? WRT Ukraine Biden seems to do his outmost to give Trump the best possible position.

I don't know whether it was posted here, but a week ago or so Ukrainians assassinated a Russian war criminal who had killed a large number of Ukrainian POWs. Another war criminal (attacks on civilians) working for the Russian Navy was killed previously as well, as well as yet another war criminal (attacks on civilians) working for the VKS. If there's one thing there's no shortage of in Russia, it's war criminals.

Now there's a claim of responsibility for another killing:
The enemy claims the murder of Mikhail Shatsky, deputy general designer of the Mars Design Bureau, who allegedly worked on the Kh-69 cruise missiles and was involved in the development of drones.
Along with the statement, photos of the body of a man killed in the Moscow region, who looked very similar to Shatsky, were published. It was allegedly another operation by Ukrainian special services on Russian territory.
There is no official confirmation of Shatsky's death, but on December 10, news appeared about the murder of a man in the Kuzminsky forest park in Kotelniki, Moscow Region. This place is only a 10-minute walk from the engineer's place of residence, known from leaks.
The first frame shows Mikhail Shatsky in life, the next two photos show the murdered man, and the video shows the work of an ambulance team at the site of the discovered body.

This is good work and I hope they can expand these kinds of operations. Without recourse to police or courts, this is the only way to deal with such people.

Shatsky was known for modernizing the Kh-59 cruise missiles to the Kh-69 level, introducing new UAVs, and is considered responsible for the deaths of thousands of innocent Ukrainians.

“War criminals will be punished, whether they personally killed or developed weapons that took the lives of peaceful Ukrainians. Justice will prevail,” the Kyiv Post source said on condition of anonymity.

Oh, and Trump said something retarded on November 25th-ish:
“I disagree very vehemently with sending missiles hundreds of miles into Russia. Why are we doing that?” he says. “We’re just escalating this war and making it worse.”

Hopefully he learned since then.
