I’ve been theorizing her horrorcow status for a while now, I think it’s spot on. Ironically it was her treatment of Synni that opened people’s eyes.
That's actually what I thought was going to happen. Obviously the situation isn't good, but if I were Birdie, I mean shit. What am I gunna do? Go fucking homeless because my friend is too autistic to know it's not chill to send porn to minors? Synni's issue was that she was willfully irresponsible, had no boundaries with her minor audience and hurt people as a result. But the solution is really simple, if Synni doesn't have the self-restraint to be appropriate with her platform she could've just given the passwords to a trusted friend and had them be the messenger until she got it sorted. It's easy, it's free, and if it were birdie it wouldve also been great because she didn't have a job therefore infinite time to monitor it.
This is what I think makes Sophia so frustrating to watch. She is not an anomaly, she is just one example of the result of unfettered internet access for zoomers and how absolutely brain-broken a lot of them are. We will see a lot more of these cases in the near future I think, to the point her many callouts will become indistinguishable from any of the other asexual transgender neurodivergent disabled otherkin schizos. Aside from her obvious freakazoid behavior with children and her fetishes this is one of the more mundane things that irks me about her. She spoke about getting her GED in her return video as if it was getting a fucking PHD and like no one has ever been through what she's been through and she's so mentally disabled and scarred that she couldn't possibly succeed. Newsflash: you are a random white girl who grew up in a stable home environment (in terms of housing and being provided for with food and clothes, not whatever interpersonal issues may have been going on), Sophia! I know the specific area she is from somewhat well and it is not a terrible place to go to school especially for her demographic. It's not the greatest but she could easily have gotten a diploma, but she would rather cut herself and sit on Discord all day than put in the bare minimum effort that American public school requires. Getting a GED is also incredibly easy if you are not otherwise burdened with responsibility like a job- she was fucking unemployed and living with her grandmother, 15 minutes away from a busline and she couldn't even manage that. The way she spoke about it as if it was so completely understandable that she failed out of school and is now a high school dropout who has never held a job is fucking insane. Maybe this is a small gripe in the face of all the other shit she has done but as ashful said, this is symptomatic of a much larger issue with this genre of person and it is pathetic to watch and the gay NEETs of the world like Sophia are often the most degenerate specifically BECAUSE of their refusal to join the workforce or pursue education. It is wild that now instead of people who are involved in crime from an early age or come from insanely bad homelives making up a bulk of high school dropouts who experience housing instability, it is a bunch if tumblrina middle class white girls like this who e-beg, talk to children about their blood fetish and like fucking My Little Pony. Absolutely crazy to think this is who our government benefits go to instead of disabled people and single moms.

Yes, this is another thing that killed me about the video. Clear delusional fakeboi/pooner behavior aside, even people who genuinely do transition to live as the opposite sex (and not an ftfemboy who loves having boobs and doesn't want to take any steps to attempt to assimilate) who experience homelessness because of reasons other than pure selfish laziness like Sophia, usually have to and do put up with slights to their identities and even violence in social and medical settings in order to get back on their feet. Are they always successful and do they really deserve it? No. They're people in a tough spot and should get the help they're willing to receive. But it's the way it is. She chose to become a social pariah and is shocked when she is treated in a way she doesn't appreciate to the point of her fleeing the shelter and refusing to go to the doctor because of being called her birthname or a woman. That is some extremely delusional and online shit, she can't handle the fact that when you are transitioning (or in her case "transitioning") in real life you can't just block all the haters and losers who don't indulge you and say you're a heckin valid dood while looking 100% female as you screech demanding to be called a man. One of my favorite moments from the video is when she talks about the lesbian who misgendered her and she says "dude, you're LGBTQ, you should know better!" Something about the tone and phrasing of she said it made me LOL so hard. The internet has deluded zoomers in some ways into believing that being transgender is a walk in the park and they are shocked when people in places like rural Washington and Missouri, where Sophia has lived, do not bend the knee to call her whatever she wants or simply don't know enough about trannies to care. She is so deep in a hugbox she cannot handle a minute of discomfort to the point she will fuck up her entire life just to feel like a victim instead of powering through it. You know, like the rest of the human race does.

Please don't victim blame. This kid seems like they don't come from a particularly good home, and it's likely that they might've experienced some kind of abuse in their real life that they're now also acting out again with adults on the internet. To claim that a 15-year-old should instantly recognize that an adult that they look up to a lot is using them for their gratification, and that it isn't normal, is to disregard the insidiousness of a person like Synni who actively chose to keep messaging a kid about her fucked-up rape fetish instead of turning off the computer or at least talking to a degenerate of a similar age.
I can only imagine being the uber driver and seeing Birdie rolling up to the uber then just casually standing perfectly fine to load it in the trunk and get into the car
