General Wrestling Discussion

Not gonna lie bros, I'd drag my dick through a country mile of broken glass and thumbtacks just to hear Liv Morgan queef through a walkie talkie and be thankful for the opportunity.
I spend eight years on this website fighting with every fiber of my being not to post shit like this and this nigga just comes right out and lays it all out there.

Godspeed you glorious bastard :semperfidelis:

You gotta work em like John Wayne Murdoch does. Make sure your opponent really sells it, then just roll him over and get your W, king.

Steve Austin finished his match, Sabu rolled out of the ring on his own, Kurt Angle won a gold medal, and Mr. Hotdog and a Handshake over here just lays there.

major title change rumored for SNME, hoping its the Womens title, but not holding my breath, I don't personally want Gunther or Cody to lose. ill enjoy it regardless though
With them in Boston on Monday I am curious how the fans will be there.
ill be sure to boo them, we have a fairly normal non-smarky crowd (which im grateful for) up here but we are loudmouths towards heels, its relatively old school and tbh its better that way

I grew up firmly in the John Cena era and a lot of people my age back then got heated when he would get beat down by whatever Heel he was feuding with at the time, its something you look back on and just laugh about and appreciate the heel for doing his job, I imagine its similar for fans in Mexican promotions

What a fucking stupid spot. All that for 2 dozen fans and $20

This is the only video I could find referring to this short gimmick for Big Show. He would come out as a new character every time and just completely job out and the big man seemed fucking miserable during this period. Is there any backstory to this? Was this punishment for something?

Since the video is just the entrance, Show would get in the ring and announce "I am Shonan, the Barbarian!" And he'd job to someone I forget and he just goes "Fuck it" and grabs the sword and clocks the guy for a DQ.

I think it was just Vince McMahon not knowing what to do with his newly hired WCW star. Of course he would make his existence miserable for a while until they figured out what to do with him, he got some nicknames like the Big Nasty or the Big Nasty Bastard before finally sticking to Big Show.

I figured he did something to piss off the locker room because he admitted when he first got to WWF that he was an asshole and Undertaker chewed him out all the time.

This was right before he was shipped off to fat camp OVW for a stint

That was the first time he got shipped to the minor yes? If i remember right he was back down in Memphis and had a rematch with the Hulkster. (Had to check it was on 07 the fantasy he was.)

Logan Paul is claiming that he has retired from wrestling and Hangman has used this opportunity to state that he hopes someone else cooler than Logan gets straight up given half his moveset next time around.

If WWE hasn't actually locked Logan into some sort of long term deal then I could definitely see TK backing up the dump truck to give him millions for a handful of appearances in AEW for maybe 200k extra viewers for a month or so.

TK is ripe to be swindled out of any amount of money at this stage and I don't think WWE will hold any kind of grudge against guys going off the reservation for a year or two to get paid before they come back home. They'll still be on TV and still be recognisable for the time they aren't on Raw or Smackdown so it's almost as if AEW is doing a low level of promotion for your show when they eventually reappear on it.

Logan Paul probably got told to lay down on WWE shit after getting slammed the entire year on the public sphere either for being caught doing stupid YT scammer shit or talking about trannies during the Olympics. He loves money more than he loves his family so there's no way he won't return to either WWE or AEW if it makes him money.

Isn't Paul doing business with WWE with the Prime drink thing? I don't buy that he's retiring, but there's probably nothing for him right now.

My money is he's taking it easy until the Rumble, where he'll probably do a stunt and depending on who he works with he'll get programmed accordingly.

Giving it a bit more thought, barring a repeat feud with Cody or Roman, the only "money match" I see for Logan currently is CM Punk.
