He obviously doesn’t want to admit that he reads the thread because visiting kiwifarms is considered a literal war crime worse than misgendering, preventing access to puberty blockers and buying Harry Potter books and video games rolled into one.

I am certain he was wearing a posture harness because we mock the fact he is a hunchback with kyphosis, but addressing the AIDs rumors would be a dead giveaway.

Also if he is positive and he confirms it, it could lead to another round of consent accident accusations.

Well we can’t know what his HIV status is.

He has said publicly a few times that he has an autoimmune condition.

Other things which he has publicly shared without prompting, such as he has partaken in bdsm practices, and the fact that he has had an approximation of a vaginal opening constructed, are also reasons to suspect he may have contracted HIV.

Bsdm, while the practitioners claim to be highly concerned with safety and consent, there are frequent reports of these things being ignored.

The artificial vagina is indeed literally an open wound and should a male HIV carrier insert his penis into it as a form of masturbation, then it would make a particularly “good” transmission route for HIV.
Especially if the introduction of a penis causes the wound to open further and bleed.

I am more of a mind that him being so bonkers over the coof is a mixture of wanting to be the Commissar in chief that leads by example, as well as the fact that it agaon makes him an outlier. Narcissists like this LOVE any reason to feel they are "different" better or not. Those differences allow him to escape the mundane designation as being one of 10 billion animals on this rock in classification. Largely because the thing Elliot fears far more than being shat on for being a rapist is being a run of the mill person whose life will have just as much impact as the lives of those surrounding him. Now that Cohost is essentially dead, I'm going to tell a story about why caving to extremists doesn't work.

When I first signed up for Cohost, some "concerned people" wrote to staff saying that I was using the Cohost platform to "provoke KF" (by posting factual info about deplatforming status).

Those "concerned people" said that unless I were to be stopped from posting about KF, or ideally banned from Cohost, that inevitably Cohost users and staff would be targeted.

My suspicion? Those were people from KF that were playing the protection racket. "Ban Liz or else your site gets it".

Shortly thereafter, I got a message from Cohost staff locking my account, and instructing me to delete all posts about KF, and to never post about KF again on Cohost in order to be unlocked. I had just paid up for Cohost Plus.

I said, "look, fine, your house, your rules, but refund me." They did.

This significantly dampened any enthusiasm I had for participating in Cohost, because the people who ran Cohost were themselves queer, and had caved to the intimidation and threats of harassment.

And the funny thing is, it didn't actually work to stop them and their users being harassed by KF!

Sure enough, just as you can find threads on KF about trans people on Twitter, trans people on bsky, trans people on Reddit, trans people on Wikipedia, there is in fact a KF thread dedicated to the denizens of Cohost!

So they topic-banned me and cost themselves money & active voices for nothing!

If you give a neo-Nazi a cookie, they'll come back for more and more and more and more. Don't let the neo-Nazis push you around, even just a little bit that may seem "reasonable", because soon enough their demands will become unreasonable and you'll have to deal with them anyways.

Did it at least stop KF from "speculating" about ASSC or about the founders of Cohost or their benefactor? No, of course not! Hell of a bargain, that. And of course I didn't want to draw any attention to the deal I agreed to while the site was still live, but now it's read-only and ASSC is defunct.

PS no, I did not delete the posts about KF. I was under litigation hold. I preserved exports of those posts, and then told ASSC they could delete the posts from the database if they wanted to, but that I was not allowed to voluntarily remove them myself.

Funnily enough, this was an own goal for KF.

Guess where that posting about the technical infrastructure of KF and its abuse vectors / failure to adhere to terms of service moved to?

I very quickly found that I was getting far more traction with my anti-abuse work on LinkedIn than I ever would have gotten on Cohost, and my professional reach about my day job increased as well.

With some of the Recent Discourse about my join date vs my "became active" date -- I candidly don't think bsky would have offered the necessary technical & policy protections at the time to defend me & spare others around me from the rain of shit coming down around me if I'd hopped over in mid-2023.

I'm grateful to y'all who have been around and active since the start on bsky, and hope this offers a view into the duty of care I felt & threat of the heckler's veto that went into the social media platform choices that I made / were made for me between Nov 2022 and Nov 2024.
