I think the hope of many was that with the Finkbucks drying up after the kike burned trillions on the pyre of Cultural Marxism companies would either lose interest because of no financial incentive, or back down because of how many of their peers were forced to shut down the doors after trying to force DEI slop onto consumers.

The reality is that the Western (and increasingly, the Japanese) video game industry is an incestuous den of vipers, where woke devs that sunk one company almost immediately get hired by another, and that the closure of so many companies doesn't matter to the BlackRock Jews since there's dozens more ready to take their place.

All that matters is to drown out the internet tubes with woke slop until there is nowhere left to escape from it. A true Cultural Hegemony.

Some industries are shedding it to a degree, and there's some judicial wins, and a fair number of entertainment industry flops, so people think that since the wind is at our backs that Wokeism is dead. We have a very slight, momentary edge that may not actually build up to any meaningful change.

Worst thing is...even if we magically weeded it out tomorrow, they successfully shifted the Overton window so people accept relatively mildly woke shit we'd have found bizarre, out of place, and maybe funny due to its novelty 20+ years ago. Intergalactic would be a joke on MadTV or something, not a real product.

Project Robot
Onimusha
Sonic Racing
Okami 3 (there's a DS game, that's the 2nd one)
Crimson Desert
Virtua Fighter
Killing Floor 3
Mechabreak (Steel Hunters looks better honestly)
Screamer (saving the racing games industry from sim-racing slop. Also, the 1995 game is fun too).

Unironically the best parts of this shitshow were the Muppets & Flutebro.
Except, you know this is a distraction from the real issues. By mocking them they "invalidate" the points. But by God, it was funny to hear it no matter the intent. Hell, just Kojima's reaction alone was worth it.

Witcher 4: The fuck happened to Ciri!? He r face got all puffed up like fucking Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn. They made her more masculine. She already looked fine as it was. Hopefully mods can fix that. That said im worried for the witcher frnachise since i feel its gonnna get DEI'd and that will make it lose its charm for me.

New "Yakuza" game: the trailer got my interest hopefully it wont be turn based. Dig the "MC" character design. Hopeful that it wont be complete shit.

Those are the new games that caught my attention. Not looking good kiwibros, when franchises that we love are getting defiled by niggers, kikes and soyboys.

Honestly I am fine with the Awards this year, a definite step up from last year but god these moments really were the worst for me:

- Randy Pitchford
- Squid Game continuing to be milked for slop (I like the show but dear god the way its milked is disgusting)
- The Aaron Paul bit was kinda cringe
- Neil Druckmann's slop being promoted as the last thing with the clearly forced hyped. You can tell Geoff has more passion announcing that new Okami game than generic science fiction game 500

Other than that, this is a serviceable awards show, still think nominating Elden Ring DLC is fucking stupid

And yet...
- We've seen layoffs pretty much every month. Something like 30k people in total this year alone.
- 30 year dev studios like Volition just closing like it's nothing.
- Games that have an 8 year turn around like Veilguard don't make a profit and are forgotten in a month. (There was a reason there was only an ad for it this year and heavily discounted on a few months after launch instead of it being nominated for an award).
- The implosion of Concord and Sony throwing $400 million at it.
- Naughty Dog shows the trailer for their new game, yet have to close comments where the trailer on IGN has people just lambasting it.
- Ubisoft,the AC Shadows debarcle and a potential buyout.

The industry itself is pushing one way. Hero shooters, D I V E R S I T Y and pretending everything is fine. Yet if you look at the actual industry itself, it's going the other way and it's entered a very dangerous time: Instability.
What you're seeing isn't necessarily a crash but it is a market correction. I do believe people are sick of wokeness and the people developing this games may pretend it's fine but if you have the CEO of CDPR arguing with SmashJT on twitter about working conditions and wokeness creeping into a product, they know the situation they're in. It's just they're corporations and won't admit it.
Maybe I only play small indie stuff off of steam these days so I'm quite insulated to the general doom and gloom of big games but I do believe the times they are a changin.

They are, and have always been, but the problem is that we, the gamers, are not the primary costumers for these companies. BlackRock, Vanguard et al are. The developers are making the games Fink wants.

It doesn't matter if next year 60 studios close down and 60,000 gamedevs get fired (I pray to God it happens), they'll still keep doubling down, both because the vast majority of devs are woke, and that investment companies can bankroll their excesses for many more years to come.
