I know it might be quite the large request but can we get something Christmasy to put on the station for december? maybe santa hats or a decoration or two.
(i have no idea how to do this or help which is why im meekly asking at anyone that does).

/tg/ used to seasonally change wall sprites to have drapped Christmas lights. It was cheap and cute.

Has anyone thought about a Michael Myers game mode?

I used to play it with my friends in private lobbies on Modern Warfare 2(2009) and we had such a fun time hiding and running away.
Not sure how much effort it would take to program it so victim spawn in with like 2 or 3 minutes to hide and then killer gets released to find and kill everyone with a time limit.
In our games the last person was allowed to 1v1 MM but they could only use melee or throwing knife.

I'd probably suck dick at since since i only play borg to ease my smooth brain but id still love to try and even spectate would be entertaining to see the interactions.

Just a thought i had and figure i could share it with the kiwi-space-bros. Cheers!

SS14 English community psychosis minor updates:

The server previously involved in controversy about the queer identify of being a child has a new rule update. You can now be brigged for ridiculous amounts of time, half an hour plus of being trapped in a 2x2 room. I've previously talked about the obscene role timer requirements but this really shows how much time these people have and how little respect they have for yours.

Bonus: This was authored by a "transbian" who has "a danger to ladies" in his discord profile.


Followup to the speciesism drama: this one is kind of a nothingburger with few updoots but this reddit thread (archive) kind of confirmed to me that yes, people do see "speciesism" as a gateway to the IRL holocaust. First they came for the felinids...

There was a mode precisely like that many years ago. It was always broken as shit, I don't remember a single time that an admin didn't have to intervene to make the hooded guy with the axe. It also wasn't Myers, it was Ruby Mode. /tg/ reference, fitting for a /tg/ server that still held association to the actual board. Whoever got the wooden idol got converted into the hooded killer.

What is actually the point of playing if you didn't have to deal with fucky stuff? The game is wide as a lake but deep as a puddle. Do these niggers really just want to get on and peacefully jerk off erp with 50 pixel sprites? when you build a room onto the station, how do you (nicely) give it air?
is there a way to build a pipe into a room through an existing wall??
i tested building a whole sealed room with some windows onto the outside of the station but couldn't figure a way to do this without simply vacating the area and popping the inside wall.

Easiest way is probably bring an air can with you then open it when you are ready

All the canisters have pressure regulators on em (thats what the kpa setting is) which defaults to room pressure

If you want to go full autism, get pipes from the dipenser, build an air alarm and find a place you can hook an adapter into the distro pipe system (unlikely unless you find an existing intersection as pipes cannot be unwrenched when they're above a certain pressure), and put down standard pipe configs then build the interior walls, that way the air alarm controls the supply as that's what they're built to do, otherwise yeah air canister or the portable pumps are your best bet like Gecko mentioned above

i had considered that but wasn't sure of how much they hold, but if it ever comes up i'll definitely just go with that

now my only concern is that the games probably won't last long enough to dig in since traitors have no time to pretend to be normal
how will i ever get to request a chicken pen built off maints north of the kitchen from engineering if the shuttle gets called after 5 minutes after they finish the engine and solars due to snapped necks?
my black history month 3 course meal in the bar has no chance of coming to fruition! it's just not fair...

Maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to plan an extended round some time where we can all play around and teach each other jobs/ try dumb shit. Maybe the Friday before a game. Learning on your own server is great but it's super annoying trying to run all aspects of the station at once.
