I cannot understand what she finds so beautiful about a cheaply painted all white, ikea shelving and some random clutter. Corissa has worked hard to erase any character or uniqueness from this home and aspire to Target Catalog style.

The cat and the possum can easily coexist (raccoons are another matter). Possums are non-aggressive, and cats can be surprisingly tolerant of them.

my cats just act like possums don’t even exist, they walk by each other on the porch totally ignoring the other. Same for raccoons too. It was weird because I figured they’d at least take a passing interest but nope. Now another cat comes on the property and it’s WW3.

Also the raccoon near my house are ridiculously fat so they probably don’t have the normal aggression of their more feral, hungry brethren. They have many, many pet food bowls and trash cans to pilfer, my house is insignificant.

I can sympathize with feeling like you don't measure up to what you feel encompasses manhood/womanhood, and I take those feelings pretty seriously. I think she might think she is trans, based on that. The truth is I don't think anyone can measure up to that, but it doesn't make us something else. I think it's just a really weird way of dealing with those feelings that became mainstream.

I think she and Kelly are both deeply unhappy and insecure with everything about themselves and have come upon a socially-acceptable way to engage in blatant self-harm. They hate and want to humiliate and punish themselves. Pretending they aren’t women and disfiguring themselves with cross-sex hormones and attempted surgery is part of the same continuum where they eat themselves into being physically repulsive and disabled or pursue relationships (J) and sex (Kelly) with people who treat them like garbage. These are sick women who don’t need their self-destruction applauded, but online echo chambers and affirming therapists are all we have now.
