Bluesky is seemingly refusing to ban Jesse Singal from the site. For background, he's a journalist that has written articles for various newspapers including The New York Times and The Atlantic, and runs a very successful podcast called
Blocked and reported. Despite being a massive lib, because he has written some 'controversial' articles such as

(This is a lie by the way. Jesse got permission to use their photo and story before the story went to print. No one was 'outed'.)
There was also a controversy over him leaking private medial information, which he's denied in a recent substack post:

After joining the site, Jesse has become Public Enemy No. 1, leading to many calling for him to be banned with some even sending him death threats:

This is on the heels of a site-wide campaign by trans activists including
Alejandra Caraballo attempting to get him banned under vague 'harassement' allegations, which included posting about BlueSky from his twitter profile and then providing commentary on it (which they saw as harassment).
He also asked for his subscribers to 'even things out a bit' by joining bluesky so the site isn't an echo chamber, and if people don't like his posts to block him... which led to the usual crying:
After some radio silence, Bluesky's safety team suddenly released a

We do not currently take action on accounts that share Bluesky screenshots with commentary, unless that commentary violates our Guidelines. We will take action when someone's private information is shared without their consent, but only when it is personally identifiable and verifiable in-app.

Jesse also was e-mailed by a kiwifarms user to inform him about a bsky user who is using an exploit to cause tech issues for him. This led to Big Al calling for him to be banned for... mentioning Kiwi Farms? (lol)
There is also a

archive) with 22 thousand signatures at the moment calling for his banning.
