It's a tricky situation with no easy answer. A few mainstream porn sites have been soft-banned in certain states, ie. laws requiring age verification through providing an ID before you can access were passed. The problem with this is that it's an invasion of privacy and seeks to guide the average Joe or kids with no knowledge of Tor or using a VPN to seedier websites with non-professional but more morally questionable/brutal porn on them.
