What is this obsession the right has with sucking off the rich? Trump doesn't care about his cult, he cares about his legacy and dynasty. It never once registers that they are being used for someone else's personal political gain. The same people who complain about participation trophies and access to birth control, are saying a nepo baby Boomer born into wealth DESERVES to be on the cover of magazines. They mock Destiny for being a cuck but get super defensive when you bring up Stormy or the VP's "dolphin love" in search history.

My biggest fear is polio coming back. And if the vaccine is banned it WILL come back with a vengence. My mother was a child when polio was in full force and she said it was really scary.

The link between vaccines and autism has never been proven.

As long as you're a billionaire that aligns with their views it doesn't matter even if you are the richest person in the world, as long as you are against the imaginary establishment. Look at Elon Musk for example.

What that post misses is Trump's virus (Covid) and Trump's riots (BLM).
Also the huge coordinated social media campaign that managed to convince a large part of the American public that there was election fraud, even though there's no evidence for that. In an election that took place under the Trump presidency.
It should make schizos wonder whether this undermining of trust in democracy, causing widespread misery through economic malaise, fuelling distrust in the government and fanning of social division through lies, rejecting the idea that anyone can know anything and should thus blindly trust charismatic leaders, was intended to prepare people for oligarchy. Especially seeing how all these tech billionaires who control the public square are now kissing Trump's ring (who is of course also a billionaire).

When I saw the short list I felt like I was gonna have an aneurism. I mean I know Time can be burger-centric a lot of times but I feel if there was one person who'd be an uncontroversial pick to show the sign of the times, why not it be someone like Gisele Pelicot? The olive oil from Italy that I used to buy doubled in price this year because of a bad harvest due to climate change. I heard today that coffee prices will be increasing for the same reason. But drill, drill, drill, Baby! Add tariffs on top about it, and the situation will become even worse. Just watch Dollar stores file for bankruptcy left and right, because most of their goods come from China and Canada.
