Started watching Maou 2099 and am liking it.

Also I realized "ancient demon lord ends up in a small modern apartment" is such a good trope I love it. I enjoyed Hataraku Maou-sama, but never saw the second season. Is it any good? I remember hating Emi and rooting for Chiho.

It's a very rough art style in general for every character, and she's a tomboy who even by the manga's standards we've seen so far isn't really supposed to be pretty, plus she's flat. The clothes aren't doing her any favors either, but you can still tell she's a woman in the rare shots where she isn't scowling, frustrated, etc.

Eventually they're gonna show her in a different outfit and different scenarios, it'll be easier to tell then.

Goblin Slayer is medieval Doom Guy, shut the fuck up Goblin sympathizer.

I'm literally (re) watching the first episode right now. There is nothing hot about these monsters, or any indication by the story you're supposed to root for them. Goblin Slayer is a dark fantasy story where one man is holding back a unstoppable horde. Its beyond epic. But no, you get hung up on episode one and check out before you get to the cheese memes and general D&D shenanigans.

Reverse isekai have way better potential than usual isekai, with or without the characters having their powers.

I don't remember it appearing in isekai (granted I watched little of the modern isekai), The modern abomination that is goblins is a mixture of DnD 5e and western coomerism (not that they don't exist in Japanese porn but way less).

Yeah. Though I remember hearing that the anime director made it like that despite the mangaka's wishes or something, so he made the her look like the winning character. There's actually a divide between those who read the original and those who watch the anime. Anime watchers favoring Chiho and readers favoring Emi. Chiho (burgergirl) wasn't yandere at all, just genki. 1st season was pretty good. Emi kindof had a reason to be an asshole since she remembers the demon lord's crimes against her people so she would cockblock Chiho so maybe someone said that was yandere behavior. OK reading archives of discussion on it maybe I'm misremembering or was just delusional because I liked the pairing.

That's what's great about it though. Can confirm it's fun to have on while playing D&D. Lizard man loves his cheese (Josh), archer and dwarf constantly fighting, Priestess being the innocent heart and soul of the group, and Goblin Slayer being the loner forced into the party leader role. That's the fun of it

Also Gushing Over Magical Girls. I watched the anime and I swore the manga was tamer. IDK what delusions I was on while reading it but I thought it borderlined on wholesome with some kinky stuff here and there.

Also, anyone else watched MD Geist and was underwhelmed? It was a cool 80s OVA, worth watching, but gets built up on online forums as the greatest thing ever.

Because it IS the greatest thing ever, infidel! 10/10 characters, 10/10 story, 10/10 worldbuilding and design! I like MD Geist 2 better because Krauser is so cool, the city is really cool, and Krauser's power armour has wings like the Freedom, but the first is good too.

The manga doesn't have outright nudity, so even though it's erotic it's a little different.
