Philip Colt Moss Confirmed Dead
I do not believe this is a good outcome, and he should never have been granted bail. The first time I heard that a zoosadist had killed themselves was Jaden Korse. His obituary featured messages from other animal torture perverts. His Mother maintained that her son only watched videos, and refused to acknowledge the extent of his wrongdoing. In the case of Moss, his crimes are arguably more severe and he took a more hands on role with the abuse, torture and killing of animals. He paid for videos, and shared them with the likes of Tori Wade and other prominent zoosadists, who despite being identified continue to walk free and remain active. He maintained a close friendship with an individual who is believed to be based in England, and is responsible for funding and facilitating the creation of animal torture porn. The two are believed to have met in person. Moss was friends with an individual in the states who at least claims to have met with fifteen year olds in Southeast Asia and groomed them into making torture porn videos. These are just a couple of things Moss could have been kept around to talk about.
He was glorified for having secured and financed extremely graphic crush porn of stumptail macaques. His content was extreme, sadistic, perverse and mind bendingly cruel. His arrest should have been made with these things taken into account, along with the sexual relationships he had embarked on with other zoosadists and information he most likely held regarding his 'community'.
Instead he was granted bail. There is good reason to believe he would still be alive, facing sentencing, offering information and being held to account if law enforcement began to take what now amounts to an epidemic seriously. Moss's circumstances were unique and deeply unusual, and that should have been a barrier to being granted bail in itself. The death of Colt Moss is a failing on par with CSM bribing his way out of the justice system. His previous offences and the abnormal, uniquely perverse nature of his crimes should have been enough to have seen any requests for bail refused. He had tremendous scope to communicate warnings to other zoosadists, tamper with evidence, flee or...well, continue his established track record of drug use and die.
The people around Moss played a role in seeing that Colt Moss could escape justice. I do not want to name the individual I consider to be most responsible for this. They were aware of Colt Moss's behaviour, they knew what he was doing. The nature of Moss's paraphilia and the cruelties he paid to be inflicted on living things both appear to have been quietly tolerated by this person. Their refusal to intervene, report him or offer information that could lead to him being stopped, held to account or at least taken away from Telegram was absolute. After supporting him throughout the time in which he was actively funding crush porn, this person went on to support his pleas for for bail and assisted him in coming home. And now he's dead.
I have to think from my own perspective. If someone told me that someone I know was involved in paying for videos of animals being tortured, this would represent some wider dysfunction at play. I'd have to consider the fact I don't really know that person as I previously thought I did. People don't accidentally seek out people who are willing to rape and kill animals and send them money to do this. The whole process is deliberate, thought out and indicative that there is something deeply wrong with that person. It's not an impulsive, spur of the moment thing. Someone has to take steps to get to where Colt was, and something has clearly gone wrong by the time they've got there. If I had knowledge of a person doing these things, it would become a sort of responsibility for me to act. I would act according with common sense, and do everything I could to ensure that the individual who is behaving this way is placed in a controlled environment and prevented from escalating or continuing their behaviour. The aforementioned person at least appears to have done the absolute opposite, nothing at all.
It is currently only speculation that Moss's death was suicide, if it wasn't I believe it could have been prevented either way, and Moss would have been held to account for his crimes and could have testified against other zoosadists.
These are just my thoughts. I was against Moss being granted bail. I'm saying it here now, there's more disasters to come. I have long been concerned about Tori Wade and Allison Lansford in particular, one has access to children and continues to do so after a number of domestic incidents set to the backdrop of zoosadism. The other is engaged in a public struggle to gain access to her son, whilst being just as public about her interest in animal torture. I would not be surprised to see either one of these scenarios become something far worse than they are right now. I suppose law enforcement has its limitations and might be watching on helplessly, but in the case of Colt Moss, half the job was done, all they had to do was keep an eye on him. I'd need to be convinced otherwise that law enforcement had its hands tied and couldn't have prevented this.
Hopefully the remaining two, Dryden and Morelli will take down as many as they can with them. Details are still coming out, so I might amend or updated parts of this accordingly.
