Warski, Ralph and Caked Alaska all benefitted from holding the favored arenas in which the athletes played. The reason all three of the aforementioned had their day in the sun in the late 2010s is because a bunch of (then) interesting people would use their platforms to reach each others' audiences. Once the talent went away, the illusion that any of the three aforementioned parties had a unique draw went away as well. They got to ride in the coat tails of interesting guests without being interesting in their own right, at least in terms of their scheduled shows. Their off air lives have continued to entertain to varying degrees at various times, but none of the aforementioned have the gift of gab or natural charisma. Apparently Warski managed to keep a small circle who still wish to relive their respective glory days of the mid-late 2010s, unlike Ralph and Caked who have been completely abandoned by their initial fan bases (or drove them off if you prefer that framing). To learn that the secret to the tight knit circle was simply the fact that they had appetites and interests that they'd be rightfully shunned for anywhere else made the whole confusing puzzle make sense.
