So now that Vara is threatening to leak DM's/correspondence with her former "friends" , I can't help but remember when she publicly challenged Alyssa Mercante to a fight, and then backed down when Alyssa in DM's - only to lie & pretend that Alyssa never accepted the challenge. You would think that would have destroyed her credibility. The fact this fat bitch thought she stood a chance against a woman who spends hours every day in the gym, and whose arms looks like this from all those workouts, shows what an unserious clown she is.

I don't think any attorney would advise his client to voluntarily become a defendant, especially a client with sizable assets. Even if it's a ridiculous case, you're going from zero odds of liability to non-zero odds.

And the strategy behind naming every "deep pocket" you can as plaintiff isn't just hoping to prove the biggest name is fully to blame. The idea behind "joint and several" damages is to prioritize getting the wronged party paid, even if that means one of the defendants bears a disproportionate burden (putting it on him to sue his fellow defendants later).

So if a barista or teacher's aide is completely negligent in throwing coffee in your face against all their employer's rules, if you can get the jury to assign just 1% guilt to McDonald's or the school board, you can demand they pay the entire gorillion dollar settlement (and it's up to them to recoup 99% of it from the judgment-proof guilty party).

A multi-millionaire becoming co-defendants with a deca-thousandaire creates a very asymmetric risk profile.
