Ill never forget the exact moment that my indifference to Vance turned to active dislike of him, was during season 1, at some point in the mid to late season, something had been going on for hours, people where shouting at each other in the kitchen, fatty was running around, Letty was causing chaos, Josie was sitting at the island doing nothing and stimming as she did, this went on for a couple hours, and then Vance stepped out of the camera blind spot near the sliding glass doors in the kitchen, grabbed a drink or something, and then just went back to the blind spot, and it just shocked me because i realized he had just been doing nothing for hours while all this shit was going on, while even in the same room as it. Guy is complete and total nontent. Waste of a slot to have him on bloodgames. From comments i heard during bloodgames from Jet they had wanted Greg to be the fulltime 6th fish to be on the team, but he refused to sleep outside, same with Trisha.
I've really started to dislike him as a cameraman too.
I commented this several times in sneedchat but i noticed any time Vance was upstairs doing camera work, he always found a way to sit down. Many of the times they where all gathered in the den he would just go sit on the steps that went up to the penthouse instead of getting a good shot he would just find somewhere to sit and do a lock down shot of whatever he could see from there. He did it in other places too but it always bugged me that he wasn't moving around and just sat, never saw Luca sit even once i don't think.
I can't find it, but AB made a good observation about the attitudes of S1 fish and S2 fish during Bloodgames. It was something like Letty and vance were more likely wait for production clarification, while Tay and Jimmy were pretty gunho and more willing to take Initiative with less hesitation. I think it was one of the earlier recap episodes, I'll try to find it.
I think i know exactly what your talking about, think that was later in the season when the sharks said they would be in the downs and Letty said they should go try to confront them, and Vance just shut her down and said production will come and get us when they want us. I hated how much he did that in bloodgames, he really couldn't switch from production to fish and as Karen Horney said he stopped the fish often from being spontaneous and just tried to herd them into what he thought production would want them to do. Kind of why on the last day as soon as he died he just started doing cigarette delivery's for production.

Mr. Based(Joshua block, aka worldoftshirts handler/chief ween) said during the stream Letty did with them that Jet had been in contact with them and they had agreed to 10k to come out for a day or two, at the end of November. Letty ended up on stream with them just because she knew some guy who was a fan of hers who's name nobody should even go through the effort of remembering, but he offered her to come and stream with them and she accepted. After the first stream that she did with them, which went rather well and the audience liked her a lot, Mr based tried to get Letty to stay and stream with them for a week and offered to pay her daily to stay, probably so he could try to fuck her, but it seems like after the first stream he learned that she knew PowEnvy, the weird skeleton guy from bitchtank and powtank, he became convinced that she was there to somehow secretly prank/own him, as him and PowEnvy had a big internet beef because of some retarded shit i don't care about. He then switched attitudes really quick on her during their second stream, and right off the bat tried to put her on the spot about the revenge porn of her from her crazy ex, and she took it well and called him a rapist, which is something he has been accused of, and a murderer, also something he has been accused of. Brief summary of Mr. based being that he used to run the largest escort company on the east coast and is pure scum, falsely claimed to have been friends with Jeffery Epstein because he figured infamy is the same as fame, and If i recall correctly he actually got a good amount of backlash from his own audience because of what a perv he was to her, and took a small break from streaming while it cooled down.
