My argument would be, shingles are bad, yes, but so is teaching children they should neurotically avoid illness, and they will need to rely on big pharma for be healthy their entire lives without interruption.

Acquainting children with the idea that they're going to get sick, it's inevitable, and gather some emotional regulation about it is a good thing.

I'm not saying avoid all vaccines. Just that COVID has crystallized this weird idea that we can avoid illness and people can't cope with the idea that we can't.
The same people worried about another Corona strain don't give two shits about HPV (or its many strains), actively refusing to vaccinate themselves or their daughters out of spite. Giving themselves myocarditis, autoimmune disorders, etc. because they're scared of a flu, while ignoring something that won't go away and can even cause cancer. It's all so backwards. We're not teaching children effective risk management or emotional regulation like this. What's worse is that we're listening to people who know it's wrong, but encourage it to exploit us and our children.

Do you think they'd get in more or less trouble than they did when they fabricated a dossier full of salacious stories to try and frame a Presidential candidate as a Russian spy so they could spy on his campaign?
The dossier was a collection of rumors, made up by other people, which the FBI pretended was serious. It was sufficiently laundered so that we can say for certain that the source was not government.

Won't someone please think of the children?

Are you surprised though? The administration and big pharma have lied to so many people for so long, why would you trust whatever they want to sell? HPV is probably the least of their concerns. In fact, the big push for HPV vaccines seems quite squirrely (you might get cancer or you might not, but take this vaccine because you can never be sure...). Where was all this cervical cancer before the HPV vaccine anyway?

Hell, my gyno tried to sell me on the HPV vaccine so I'm immune to a ton of strains I didn't have (yes, I got it from an ex). How many people are you expecting me to fuck? My gyno seems to operate on the idea of women's empowerment through sex, so they might be a bit biased (they're huge fans of the birth control pill).

The impression I got from some female family members is that it's most beneficial for people who have a lot of partners. One even said "They offered it to me, but I had no intention of whoring around so I saw no benefit."

I think mothers and daughters not getting it "out of spite" (stated upthread) is an unfair characterization. Every intervention has risks and side effects (autoimmune disease, POTS, and chronic pain in the case of HPV vaccines) and while rare the people who get these often have issues so severe it interferes with their ability to work.

Any time you introduce a medication or intervention, you are also introducing side effects or possible complications. There's no medication that only does one thing, and no vaccine that doesn't have other possible effects. It just depends on what they are, what the risk of it is, and what benefit you're getting in return.

There are also lifestyle factors that impact cervical cancer risk, like smoking, impaired immunity (chuck being fat and metabolically unhealthy here), and keep in mind it's CHRONIC infection with HPV that results in cancer. Not getting it once.

If you know you're a healthy person, who doesn't smoke, and who has one long term partner then getting the HPV vaccine may not feel worth it to you given the risks.
I think that's completely fair.
Some vaccines are clearly worth it for most people like MMR and tetanus. Others people decide they aren't like flu, or covid.

In some cases it's contextual, for example if they have an at-risk family member or partner.

I really wish vaccines could be discussed in a more nuanced way where more leeway is given to the individual to decide for themselves. If someone makes a bad decision and it was a bad bet, well, that's life. If a lot of people are doing it, there's probably a reason for that (mistrust for example) in which case maybe you want to work on that (increased transparency and accountability).

Pharma companies are not inclined to discuss adverse events and consequences and they usually only get discovered after 10-20 years on the market.

The one thing that has weirded me out from COVID is the fact that somepeople still don't wash their hands

What weirds me out are the retards who insisted on getting COVID vaccines but don't wash their hands after doing things you really should wash your hands for.

"GET THE FAUCI OUCHIE, BIGOT"
Handles raw meat without washing hands
"YOU ARE THE REASON WHY SOCIETY SUCKS"
Wipes ass without washing hands
"FUCKING DRUMPFTARDS"
Is homeless and has not showered in 6 months

These people are tiresome. At least be consistent.

The only vaccine I've gotten regularly since I've been an adult is tetanus. I recommend that one. Otherwise, the occasional MMR and TDAP seem to be ok too. They better not screw with those. After 60 or so you're supposed to get viral pneumonia ones too, and I've never heard problems with those.

I could understand smallpox and so on, even though those left a perm dime-quarter size scar in the shot size on everyone that got ones upper arm. Now they even do them on kids for chickenpox and other fairly harmless diseases.
For women I recommend Gardesil, helps prevent cervical cancer-causing HPV.

I regret getting the COVID booster shot because I felt worse afterwards then when I actually got COVID months before.

It was the only time I ever felt sick after a shot. So I'm never getting a COVID vax again. I'm still getting flu shots though

So he got "his lawyer" to ask FDA to rescind approval of the Polio vaccine. Nothing has happened yet.

It's also unlikely to come back because polio is borderline extinct, except in specific backwards turd world countries.

I think its dumb, because Polio is an actual serious disease (unlike the weak sauce COVID) that can actually kill or maim in significant quantities/percentages.
Polio vaccines are also proven methodology: e.g. live virus or inactivated virus - rather than novel/prototype mRNA shit like the COVID vaccines.

But like I said above, it's the foreshadowing of maybe a happening down the road, it hasn't actually happened yet. And polio is pretty much extinct in the West anyways - so if we get a return of polio its not RFK or anti-vaxxer's fault, its because of the people importing infinity turd worlders without vetting.
There is a concern about polio that people get from certain vaccines that are used now. And yes any polio in the US is from the infinity 3rd worlders.

People never considered anything other than COVID when talking about COVID.

Oh, sure, masks just work, but nobody considered that people simply do not wear or treat masks properly.
And they surely work in restaurants, where you constantly have to take them down or even wear them to walk to your table (never mind service items not being legit treated like biohazards.
And they surely work in places you most certainly don't need to be. I have seen people complain that people don't wear them in ski lodges.

Or how about the nature of vaccines, where if you get it, it's not some impenetrable wall that makes a vaccine stop with you.
Or that people who live in the first world really aren't your problem with vaccines (you know, all of those people crossing the southern border that aren't vaccinated).
Or that the vaccine apparently lessens symptoms...from a disease that can present asymptomatically.

You know, if a "Russian asset" legally won the presidency twice then we're probably already a Russian colony. Or, and this may come as a shock, he's not an asset.

It's another failure of human ability to retain thoughts. If you called Trump a fascist in 2016, and you saw how many people have voted for him, you should have lost your shit enough to make like the immigrants at the border, and hightail it out, instead of, you know, seeing how fascism was going to work out.

The absolute insanity of how people think.

There's a bit of a schism going on between people who actually think Trump is Super Hitler and people who know this is just a DNC loss and are reacting thusly. I am excited to see where all the insanity goes though, I think we may actually see a riot in January

Imagine spending a decade calling your opponent a Nazi traitor and people trusting you so little that they elect him anyway and he is more popular than ever. What’s your next move there?

What are the statutes of limitations on Trump's charges?

People keep saying "Dismissed without prejudice just means they have to wait four more years and THEN THEY CAN THROW HIM IN JAIL!"

All his charges for Election Interference are for actions as old as 2020 and all the 34 CRIMINAL CONVICTIONS!!11!11! over Stormy Daniels are for things older than 2016.

Will any of this shit matter by the time he steps down in January 2029?

What's This? A bill to extend the statute of limitations of campaign finance violations from 5 years to 15 years introduced by a California Democrat in 2020? What a coincidence!
