I know absolutely squat about law but if lawfare was going to work, it would've worked this cycle. My understanding is that they could, but by the time 2028 rolls around they'll be training their fire on Vance (or whoever else may be the R nominee) anyway. Hell, in twenty years maybe they'll invoke Trump as "one of the good ones" like they did McCain / Dubya.

Willpower is required when you are around temptation. It’s more draining because it requires energy and focus. What you did was create better conditions and stick with it, which has an element of momentum.

You demonstrated will in making the changes, but through discipline you removed the need for willpower. It became simple maintenance.

I say this because this framing helped me understand how to make similar changes for myself. As men, it’s easy to try to do too much, fail, and think ourselves weak for failing. The negative cycle can only be broken with discipline. Bits of will spent here and there that compound.

I hope you’re able to solve your other issue through your own design rather than some bullshit pharma.

You're right, but willpower is still a part of it. Every time I walk in a gas station past some chips, every time I choose to not eat potatoes or Mexican food, every time I drive past a McDonalds hungry and in a hurry.

Like an alcoholic, temptation is there every day.

But on the other hand, the momentum and the maintenance can be seen in the fact that in eating less carbs, I'm less hungry. I can eat 1200 calories and not be hungry, which removes a lot of temptation.

Who cares? These faggots didn't care about procedure when bringing bullshit charges against him. What makes people think they'll care about something like statute of limitations? If I was Trump I'd immediately pardon myself for all crimes for my entire life then blast any motherfucker who dared try to stop me from making needed changes. If they tried to impeach me I'd stream their death and fortnite dance over their corpse. Democracy is fucking retarded and has never worked because it does not encourage long term thinking from leaders at all. The only way a democracy would work long term is if there was a caste of people born and bred to be literal slaves of the people who were unable to diverge from their whims but that wouldn't work either because as one enlightened street shitter put it "the people are retarded". The only form of democracy that might work long term is Starship Troopers democracy but that has never been tried and never would be allowed to be tried because again the people are retarded.

Starship Troopers was based on the Ancient Spartan system of earning citizenship through military service

That still wasn't Heinleinian democracy though since a normal person could not just sign up to join, get a job polishing boots, then become a citizen. At least not according to my knowledge of Sparta which is sourced from 300 and not much else. Either way the dystopia ST describes prior to the federation with "kids" attacking people at random is more prophetic than even teddy boi in my opinion.

As much as some dislike Heinlein for Starship Troopers, the United Citizen Federation is rather utopian in how it functions. As for democracy itself it historically had a more mixed reputation prior to the USA coming to existence and rising in the world to the point of being a superpower. Even for old and ancient states like Venice, Rome, Athens remember that even though they were "republican" or "democratic" in some way they didn't just let every single person in the land have the power to vote.

I visited my grandmother in the nursing home yesterday.

I find it horrifying that the people who decide if we go to war and control the economy are roughly in the same mental state.

I noticed a lot of complaints about Trump's plans to privatize the postal service, and I don't really see the problem? Most people get their mail through e-mail, and if they buy something or ship something chances are they are going to use UPS, FedEx etc. The USPS is a really antique system. Nor is privatizing your postal service unprecedented. Germany, Japan, and The United Kingdom all did it too. And I don't recall any problems.
I think a lot of people just hate Trump, and need to be contrarian.
Also, privatization could be partial if you're worried about rural counties.
