General GunTuber thread

Fish "pond" update, this guy's stuff has been steadily growing on me for a couple years now
Someone superchatted Hop about the 7.62 Yahweh, I think Null has a new caliber to stock up on.

I saw that like a month ago and it seems like some super serious shit.
The only issue I see with it is that it looks like it recoils like a motherfucker, even if that guy sucks at shooting. An AR-10 although more powerful tends to weigh much more and have a longer bolt travel, therefore soaking up more recoil. A small frame AR with something this powerful will kick pretty hard but the drawbacks may be worthwhile for many uses.
I'm curious about reloading stuff and if you'd be able to use steel case ammo to get even more pressure out of the thing.

Being able to revert back to a standard cartridge with either an adjustment or $10 gas tube is something pretty awesome instead of being fucked with something like a WSSM cartridge. Pretty much a 7.62x39 Ackley Improved in a way.

finally a female guntuba content isn't glorified porn that's what i was trying to say
Before you edited your post one example I can think of is Buck Angel.

Bunch of wildcatters and boutique ammo companies had made the online gun news with their various flavors of "improved" 7.62x39mm back in the early-mid 2010ies. While they were better than the 7.62x39mm by 5 to 10% depending on which wildcat. Ultimately none of them were that great to overcome the sheer inertia of good enough of the already established 7.62x39mm.

Inventor of the 7.62 Yahweh entered TheHighRoad forum thread on the 7.62 Yahweh for anyone wanting more information.

cartridge names are so cringe these days. used to be straight forward and self-explanatory.

.45-90 Winchester
.50-140
.30-06
.45 ACP
.308 Winchester
.40 S&W
.44 S&W special
and so on.

Seems like now they have to give it some market tested, panel reviewed shitty name like "blackout" "super carry" "Sharp" "whisper" its just G A Y

Only decent name in this century has been the 6.5 creedmoor. its named after the creedmoor range in what is now Queens NY. Its where America hosted the international long range shooting matches in the 19th century. they were shooting .45-70, .45-90 and other similar black powder cartridges up to 1,000 yards. the matches consisted of 3 strings of fire at 800, 900 and 1,000 yards. 15 shots each at 800 and 900 and 20 shots at 1,000. No warmup or sighting shots were allowed.

Point being with a name like "creedmoor" you immediately know it's intended use.

I derailed the thread a while back ranting about the scummy nature of UK museums, and just how shit the visitor experience is to the Royal Armories in Leeds. Now this.

Even though Royal Armories is owned by the Public they assert their copyright over pictures taken in the museum by visitors (I'm still kicking myself that I lost the pictures I took of the exhibit on 'American gun culture'). They have a beautiful building but their displays are uniformly crap, a tiny fraction of their total collection, most of the halls are given over to shit dioramas and fat larpers .

Anyway I'm not surprised they did this.

When you consider that the general trend of modern historians is to make the past as inaccessible as possible, this fits.

So Q LLC made a very bullshit video comparing their silencer to a few others. As you can guess any silencer that could beat theirs wasn't included and the whole thing was biased as shit. The comments weren't having it though and are generally tearing Q and Kevin apart.

OCL out here being the bigger men.

Man who owns a silencer company doesn't know what a k can is.
