.30-06
.45 ACP
.308 Winchester
.40 S&W
.44 S&W special
and so on.
Don't forget the United states army's new caliber for the assault rifle which is only used for that assault rifle and was created for that assault rifle because you know we can't just create a 762 assault rifle we need something that will make logistics extremely inconvenient.
I feel like the XM7 it's gonna be one of the most overpriced gimmick guns United States Army ever came up with

This is actually a photoshoot done for some bullshit "bullet proof" bespoke suit tailors called grayman company, they were all over Instagram and Facebook ads about a year ago. They dressed them all themselves and thought "yeah we got something here"

God, they aren't even bulletproof they're just "tactical tailoring" dropshipped from China.

Potential guntube lolcow alert: Brian Wang is trying again at building a youtube following - https://www.youtube.com/@Combatrifleschool

Brian Wang runs Monarch Defense, a pretty unique training facility in the bay area where he bought a random valley and teaches out of it. He's ultimately a good guy, but has crippling gun autism and a combative personality that make him a pretty mediocre teacher. He also went to Ukraine as a war tourist and likely got a bunch of people killed as a result: https://www.businessinsider.com/some-us-volunteers-ukraine-accuse-another-being-a-war-tourist-2023-1

A fun highlight is here where he gets very combative over the velocity for ar15 rifles in the comments. He's a big fan of ignoring max pressure in reloading manuals and just aiming for 3300fps in an AR15.: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/HWeZqF1oQo8 A couple of his students have asked me about shooting his reloaded rounds and I always remind them that Brian is not a deity who can replace lost fingers or unmaim you.

I'm trying to dig information into this sort of alleged velocity for AR-15s, where he would make a generality and then make some sort of claim in the comments section.

Looking at textbook information on the M16A1 with Lake City M193 ammunition, on FM 23-9 1989, M16A1 and M16A2 Marksmanship. It claims the velocity of the rifle is at 3250 FPS. In the comments section Wang keeps arguing with someone who is referencing reloading data on the 5.56 cartridge.

Wang keeps making claims that with California being 110 degrees F and above it would make the ammunition shoot at higher velocities.

Too bad that as of now, the hottest places in the United States such as Death Valley CA, or Phoenix AZ is around 75F or so. It would be funny to have this guy be proven wrong with science with a shooter with an A1, a chronograph, and Lake City contract ammo.

We do have a Paul Harrell video of him doing testing at a much lower outdoor temperature. Roughly getting 3170 FPS with M193 and a 20 inch barrel.

So getting back on topics of guntubers that people actually care about/give a shit about....

This week's Unsubscribed podcast has a massive lore drop revelation about Donut Operator..... Mainly that Cody Garrett was a failed child star who's mom forced him to do commercials as a young pre-teen, including a video for a handheld digital camera for kids that aired exclusively on Nickelodeon in the early 00s.

King Trout found the digital camera commercial and it has a baby-face pre-teen Cody dressed like blueberry Fred Durst complete with backwards baseball cap recording a girl his age dance for him with the camera up in her face.

I don't think you need to plumb the depths to see that 3,300 is optimistic. It's generally accepted that a 20" AR with M193 should expect to see 3,100-3,200FPS. And it goes down to around 3000 with a 16" gun, which is what most people are shooting. The 10.5-12.5 commando carbines are down around 2700, in them you really notice a performance drop off after about 450yds with 55gr ammo. This dude is probably sheering bolt lugs all the time and just copes that it's ok because bolt heads are technically a wear item.

I used to have an inside track and could get real deal Lake City m193 out of the employee sale for $100/1k because the cases were tarnished so the military wouldn't buy it. I've shot as much if they shit as anyone and we've ran it over my buddies lab radar crono plenty of times. Stocking back like 30k rounds of that stuff is one of the only good financial decisions I've made.

GoonThumb released an endurance test video on the PSA Krinkov, going up to 5,000 rounds.
TL;DW, his hair is thinning, lightweight suppressors do not enjoy heat, Northwest Gun Supply(his local shop) says it's fine at both 2,000 and 5,000 with standard wear, they figure it's certified "just as good" when considering it's a third/fourth of the price of an import.

Have Micah or Charlie come out with what they're doing after moving on from GT? I know Micah has a channel already but it feels very low effort/low input.

Micah's channel was always, hopefully, a side gig while his cinematography was his focus. He dropped Mike like a pozzed potato and is apparently going elsewhere.
Charlie has his own channel where no weirdos can censor him.

TLDW: Aging married man wants more kids, aging single woman wants his kids, and his dick; wife finds out and ruins it. Homewrecker says its all his fault, says she didn't want dick. Drama, bullshit, drama, bullshit...
Did GT dick down this freeharambe's wife/girl/daughter or something? Why does he have such a hard on for going after GT when so far it looks like nothing GT did involved fucking over anyone other than his own wife and kids by cheating and blowing up his marriage?

It certainly seems like that account was run by someone very close to GT. It contained way too many posts with specific details to simply be someone on the periphery. And yeah, the overall tone of the posts gave the vibe that whoever ran the account felt personally wronged by GT.

The GT drama is weird and sleazy as shit. So the guy's a degenerate serial liar with an impregnation fetish who is incapable of taking wedding vows seriously while he publicly LARPs as a based trad husband and father. That's pretty fucked up, but hardly a big deal in the grand scheme of things, especially in the world of social media "influencers" who are pretty much all soulless liars. At least he kept his impregnation efforts focused on consenting legal adult women.

The older I get, the less Guntubers other than Paul/Roy Harrell I give half a shit about.

I have no interest in watching some zillionaire playing dress up at a range with a rifle I could never afford. (No need to name names, that encompasses nearly ALL of them except for Roy.)

Even Herrera has gotten incredibly stale for me, and I actually have a similar juvenile sense of humor as him.

Yeah, you can only see so many several thousand dollar larp setups used exclusively to hose down paper at 50yds with loud and fast editing before you're tired of the whole thing.

I stand for Brent, as well. He spends a decent amount on gear but is autisticly informative and actually does stuff in the field that isn't super close cardboard.
