From a quick Web search, the logs were generated by Nirsoft Skype Log Viewer. It gives you the option to sort by record number, but apparently it wasn't done in this case. However that isn't an issue for us of course. And the Record Number looks a little more than vaguely sequential to me.

In my humble view, art is the window to the soul. Sometimes the obvious is only seen once the hero-worship falls away.
I think Shmorky presents a classic example...The cooler aspects of his previous work blinding us to the horror we can see so easily now...

Well that is true, but also many people can do work with some messed up undertones and not be a dangerous pedo like Shmorky. I agree that you can learn a lot about an artist through their art.....but also an artist has a certain degree control over what sides of their personality they wanna express to the public.

This is very true up to a point, but many artists cannot control the subliminals.
I am of course just a jerk cartoonist myself, so I may well be talking rubbish.

We both are....in that I am also a cartoonist and a jerk, and yes you can pick up on subliminal undertones and yeah, I could certainly pick up that Shmorky had his kinks (from my experience many cartoon artists are kinky bastards) but I could have never guessed how deep that went. I also think a lot of people less familiar with art, or the inner workings of an artist's mind wouldn't even pick up on those more subtle things.
