Most autistic thing you've purchased lately - c'mon feel the cringe

Model rockets have gotten really inexpensive, and my oldest has started getting in to explosions, flight, running through the desert and he learned how to use a fire extinguisher at school, so this Christmas he's going to have a shit ton of all that good shit added to his calendar

Model rockets were huge fun when I was a kid. To this day, even though I haven't flown one in years, I still save the cardboard tubes from stuff like aluminum foil and make rockets from them. I make the fins from styrene sheet and the nose cones from balsa blocks I turn down using a hand drill, knives, rasps and sandpaper.

I got a figure of some guy from an 80s cartoon clearly partly animated by an anime studio i don't fully remember if i ever watched rerunsof or not but I probably did at some point. ANYWAYS I got him because 1: I find the design really fucking cool and 2: the sculpt is incredible at replicating the artstyle, something I always appreciate in miniature figures of things.
also because he was on discount no way am I ever gonna pay the full 60 they wanted for this! I am not made of fucking money!

Every one of the main characters of this thing is just "character in metallic plain jumpsuit" and then you got the bad guy who's just a fucking weirdly awesome monkey lion alien space pirate guy.
Also he has an armored super form with a red spiked skull head, haven't gotten that yet but I aim to since that's been marked way down from the initial insanely overpriced 84 dollars to like 40-50 depending on who's selling.

You can see it in this image comparing it to other figures in the series.
EDIT: Apparently there's a second release is not only NOT discounted but also upmarked and all it has different is more consistently colored paint and an extra un-helmeted head at the cost of the laser effect head. I like how the bits where the armor connects on this variant are a darker red instead of gray but I'm not gonna pay 80 something dollars for that and an unmasked head instead of inconsistent colors attempting to emulate animation cel shading.

Haven't you posted dozens of times in this very thread about your tiny gremlins? Then again, since they go in cages, you can keep an eye on your rats' possessions like they're in jail, and make sure they aren't turning your hair sticks into shivs.

I cleared out under the bureau and found cat toys, hair stuff, pens, various lids and caps and a reminder card from the dentist with tiny teeth holes all along one side. Probably a 1:1 ratio of things I gave her and things she took for herself.

If you buy enough hair sticks, eventually there won't be anywhere to lose them to.
If the hair accessory gremlin thief is of the rodent variety, I'd dearly love to know where her stash is, because I thought I'd destroyed all the bolt holes.

One hair stick I did find chewed to pieces, and I find shredded hair bands fairly regularly, but god only knows where the rest of the missing stuff has gone.

A box of 1:18 scale horses and horse accessories.
Was it one of these? A few months back I got some blank human figures from one company that makes 1:18 scale figures and when I saw you mention "1:18 horses and horse accessories" I remembered seeing listings for these from the same guys.

Yep, they had a killer black friday sale so i got 4 with 8 accessories sets
I hope they have another sale like that at some point because that hit when I had no money and buying figures from them is pretty costly otherwise IMO. Really great stuff though.

Hellsing Deluxe Volume 1. I've held off buying it for quite a while, but I finally made the plunge. Haven't read it yet, but the size of the artwork is nice. Binding is decent, but the paper feels rather cheap and I'm very worried about yellowing as time goes on.
