Something I haven't seen anyone posit but seems very logical to me is that he is a retarded autistic pedophile, but in knowing that lots of people are watching and will give him attention, he may be hamming up his autism even more for the camera. After witnessing Jace crash his car and while concussed in the moment turn it into content i'm of the opinion that a lot of this stuff could require minimal planning and if you have just a small amount of the ability to put on theatrics you can carry something like this.

He doesn't even need to pitch it to other people. He tricks one or two people into believing him they will show up every time to listen in live because they think they're in the front row seats of the truman show.
