It's hard to pick a favourite dumb thing about KH, but if you really pressed me, the reveal near the end of KH2 that Roxas is Sora's Nobody where they re-arrange the letters of R-O-X-A-S to spell S-O-R-A with a spare X established a precedent that every Nobody's name was an anagram with an X in it.

This kind of worked for Xemnas being Ansem and Axel being Lea, but you could tell they were really struggling to make sense of some of the dumber names, like Xigbar becoming Braig or Marluxia becoming Lauriam.

Even though it's a joke, Dunkey's lore video does a better job explaining Kingdom Heart's retarded plot than the games do.
Sadly it doesn't include KH3 where things got really stupid.
