I would say at one point they had the power to sway and influence opinion on games, but that changed as they started to shill out and have dumb reviews. Thing is that nowadays people tend to go for the "small reviewers" or they just go to the game reviews directly with the input of the players. Doesnt help that they now, in a subtle manner at times, insult the gamers they are trying to convince of playing X game.



As for the character designs, too much niggers, if it was one maybe 2 and their design werent so ghetto, i would like it. Secondly their designs dont stand out excpet maybe for the big tall guy, but its because he is tall, there is nothing truly separating them in terms of design. Randycan still unfuck himself if he just tweaks the designs a little, but i think the DEI cock has been shoved into his throat.

It was actually a 100% watchable. It was fun, light, the characters and plot worked with respect to the game (as much as they could). The lesbo couple at the end was completely cringe worthily but actually entertaining. Pulled off Sweet Tooth really well.

I haven't watched the show but based on reviews it's between being "so-and-so" and one of the more better tv adaptations of video games.

So there's a good chance this will be at least better than 3's messy plot? If only they would change the player characters because the enemy designs looked cooler than them.

Yes.

For the uninitiated - he's a cast member on Dropout - so he's on rotation for their shows (Game Changers, Dimension 20, Um Actually, Make some Noise, etc) and in their sketches. Dropout has gotten huge over the years (after almost entirely collapsing) to a point where several cast members are getting huge opportunities. They've got 3 live shows touring, some left to go write for Viacom, and in other video game news - Erika Iishi is the controversial new protagonist for the Ghosts of Tsushima sequel is also a Dropout cast member.

I don't love DEI but I'm not sure you could write Borderlands worse than it already is, so go for it Ify.

Saw the movie by the way. it was very mid. i hate the fact there was no gore the entire film when the games can get very bloody. Is it beacuse they want to market the movie towards china since they are very stingy where it comes to gore?

I thought BL3's hunters were already uninspired but holy shit these are far worse and have less character. You'll HAVE to put a helmet or different head over their faces just to make it look tolerable. And then the body proportions are all shit. Yknow, sequels are usually supposed to be a culmination of developer experiences with the series. And they have learned nothing this says. Game design is dead. Character design is dead. Gearbox is gonna crash hard if they don't redesign this slop. May have sold in the later 2010s and early 2020s but not now. Its immediately outdated dei design. Give me a damn veteran Marauder from BL1/2 hunter already. Or a Goliath that has the ability to go into his badass phases via combos. And an ex-Hyperion soldier/engineer. Also bring back badass rank, I had fun with it even if it made things easier. Also the sci fi look is fucking boring and overdone by now. Bring back some bleakness and mad max + codehunters aesthetics good god.

Is the Pre-Sequel worth playing in 2025 for someone who missed it at launch but was still a big fan of BL2? I have not played anything from the series after the Tiny Tina DLC for BL2.
