Canada is a failed state

Is it like Hitler's last days in the bunker there in the Trudeau administration right now? Wish I was a fly on the wall, bros.
Holy shit.

The swearing-in ceremony of LeBlac was surreal as fuck. One general goes down. Another gets sworn in live during the battle. The few that's in the room clapping and smiling while knowing the chaos in the parliament and the country.

CBC PRAISING Freeland as if she did the most heroic thing ever. Calling it "masterclass." No, she was a vindictive bitch who went out the worst way possible for Trudeau. This is not good for the country. This drama is indicative of how Trudeau cabinet functions. Bunch of loyalist backstabbers who get thrown under the bus.

I don't think Trudeau will flee to Argentina, but we never know
He should go to Cuba, the land of his ancestors.

Sounds like a good time for a military junta to seize power. Who is Canada's most beloved military strongman right now?

40% of Liberal MP calls for Trudeau to resign.

60% doesn't give a shit because they already have pension

There is more tax collectors than military servicemen.

Perhaps a people's revolution instead of a military junta, then. Need a charismatic leader, some catchy slogans, and a foreign power to provide support. Perhaps the Americans will lend a hand.
It's better for america to just seize Alberta and Saskatchewan for resources and blockade the rest.

America also wants, uh, what's that one province with the lobsters? That one. Y'all can keep Quebec.

What happens if Trudeau resigns? He gets replaced by some next idiot from his party, or election?

Taking over Atlantic provinces is a great idea. Only about 2-3 mil people. Tons of land. Great ocean. Too bad people there live off the government like leeches.

If Trudeau resigns, liberal party will hold a caucus convention and vote for their next leader. So far, they are all bad. Trudeau made sure of that. Unless sellout Jeet vote with conservatives to topple the government, Liberal Party will remains temporarily until October of next year.

I'm calling it now, nothing will come of any of this. The government is going down next election no matter who leads the LPC and the party isn't going to burn talent/a new leader on a doomed election.

Trudeau will stay on until the election, resign after the CPC wins, and the LPC will start to rebuild while blaming the loss on Trudeau.

Nothing ever happens.
TRUDEAU IS CONSIDERING PROROGING THE PARLIAMENT.

we are in uncharted territories.
Do you not remember the last time parliament was prorogued? I do and it isn't "uncharted".

It is when the government is failing and have zero fucking mandate. Harper proroged the parliament because the opposition parties were gearing up for coalition which was clearly retarded shit to do and served no one but themselves.

Nothing about this is unprecedented imo.
The finance minister resigning minutes before she had to table the fall economic statement is unprecedented though, CPC get to push another non confidence motion, and the government may be held in contempt of the house, but jag will hold out for his pension, so maybe nothing will happen.

Along with the 16 billion lawsuit to natives (and others, which make up about 1/4 of the deficit currently) they have in the budget 6 Billion (with a B) guaranteed loans to natives for "native projects" where the government will cover 6 billion of failed economic projects to lenders for natives.

They will only be giving about 500 million to a program to help black entrepreneurs which is absolutely not just free money for projects but training and consulting etc. They will be spending less than that to help with auto thefts because the insurance board told them thefts are down from last year. They will be spending some amount of money to put Terry Fox on the 5$ bill, they will be using the interest on frozen Russian assets to pay Ukraine as well as spend less than a hundred million to collect all the "military style" firearms citizens may have to give to Ukraine.

They will also invest heavily into AI to remove all of those public service jobs like working in disability, social assistance, old age and pensions, EI etc so you can only deal with a computer VS a person, because ArriveCan worked out amazing. They did invest multiple hundreds of millions into additional "border control" to help with "trafficking" issues.

They point out Canada has G7 Presidency next year which is deeply ultra embarrassing.

They actually have nothing in that budget to legitimately help with affordability issues except the GST holiday. They didn't give money to mental health or health care. They mainly said they will cut down on the trafficking of fentanyl with less money that they'll throw in the trash for "native projects". Of which again, 16 billion with a b already paid out with a question mark in the distribution column because where the fuck did it actually go?

The deficit is pretty good headline fodder but a better one would be asking why we allowed these groups to add a major deficit and are those groups truly about Canadian prosperity? It looks like they grabbed a chunk of cash from an already dieing country and will never contribute to the society while we forever pay for them. If you have to use a food bank next year, it's Trudeau in a feather headdress you should picture in your mind. You might not be able to be safe in your city, you may not be able to find a job, afford rent or food but WE RIGHTED THE HISTORICAL WRONGS. What kind of shit ass lawyers and piece of garbage court system do we have that a settlement is 16x what Alex Jones has to pay for "historical wrongs" which may or may not relate to unexplored "mass graves". They had an actual video of Alex saying his bullshit, this is just "claims".

Until Trudeau is out of office, rip the country off for everything it has. Unless you work at one of the top companies or are remotely important, nothing you do can equal 16 billion with a b paid out nor the 6 billion thrown in the trash for native funsies.

I really think that number will trigger even more strikes next year.

America also wants, uh, what's that one province with the lobsters? That one. Y'all can keep Quebec.
The rest of New England mainly. The Saint Lawrence river not being the entire border and Maine sort of just ending in the middle of the woods in New Brunswick made little to no sense. It was sort of an accident of history. That area was an unincorporated crown territory with some Scots living in New Scotland (Nova Soctia) and that was about it. There were not enough of them to justify forming a crown colony and at the Treaty of Paris the UK didn't want to give up its navigational rights through the Gulf of Saint Lawrence, even though they gave up pretty much everything else. Nobody had really gotten around to determining where the border between Quebec and New York was either by the time the Revolutionary War broke out a few years after the end of the war with France.

Of course, nobody really raised too big a stink about it because it was generally assumed the rest of British North America would inevitably join the USA. So there was little incentive to belabor the point. Not causing a war with the preeminent naval power of the 19th century also played a role. Especially since the USA already had infinity land to settle out west anyhow.

Lets just say the US Canada Border was a bit of a rushed job that took over a century to hash out and still has some disputes and weird outcomes because people in London and Paris drew lines on map without ever having been there before.
