Sometimes I wonder why the entitlement of some men isn't talked about more. I don't mean the entitlement towards women, but society, especially retail workers in this case.
Without PL-ing too much - the store I currently work at sells a lot of stuff for kids as well.
Now, kids aren't exactly known for having huge bladders or always knowing when to go, so it happens from time to time that the parents ask one of our staff if their kid can use the bathroom. We're not allowed to let any customers use the bathroom (safety, security etc reasons).
I usually tell the parents that the store across from ours (literally a 1-minute walk) does have some easily accessible public toilets. While that's totally fine for 99.9% of the women, the men are usually the ones throwing a fit or tantrum.
Here's a small best-of:
"You sell items for kids but don't give a shit about my child." (I mean, he's not wrong.)
"I will write a bad Google review unless you let my child piss here." (Oh no... How will I ever survive this?)
"Okay, my child will just piss right outside of your store then." (Great way of teaching your kid how to behave later in life!)
"Just like I always knew, you women have ZERO EMPATHY FOR ANYONE BUT YOURSELVES!" (says the guy screaming at the underpaid retail worker)
Keep in mind, all of this drama instead of just walking across the street and using the shitter there.
That's all, thanks for letting me vent. I hate men.
