I was indeed guilty of a conflation and I apologize for that. I still find it interesting that Jim chose to donate to her. I'll wait and see if more pops up to connect more dots.

I think there's a funny point I think everyone is missing over this "Jim donating to anime women of questionable character" debacle.

Shouldn't both sides of this pedophile by association argument be thinking of the real reason not to sweep for Jim here:

Jim is dying. Jim has a wife that will be expected to be his widow in the near-ish future. He has put out a stoic front that he's setting his wife up financially so for when he's gone, she'll have nothing to worry about directly following his passing.

This summarizes my initial thoughts very well. Even if presented with a legitimate altruistic endeavor, his estate should take priority given the circumstances. The counterpoint is that I believe his house is paid off, Jade does have a high paying career and he already has a decent nest egg to leave her. And it is entirely possible that he had life insurance prior to his illness. He is in a position to do some philanthropy for legitimate causes despite his condition/circumstances, but this is hardly a great case of philanthropy. Also, if Okairo is to be believed, it is one in a string, which would be significantly more interesting.

This is probably more in reference to Jim having used his platform in the past to bring attention to people who have gotten demonetized/stricken, but finding other instances of him handing out money would also be a good reference. The Halloween raffles he's run the past few years probably weren't cheap either, so he's probably in a financial position that if he does actually keel over Jade won't be left in penury.

Oh yeah the streams aren't bad I just think the videos are better overall. Loved his stream about Ralph's bowling alley event. Only time I tuned out on Metokur were the year/year and a half all about Covid. Knowing now how sick he was the obsession makes sense but at the time I was over Metokur talking about Covid before it hit US shores.
