To verify these are real, can you have her check the UID of that Discord account so it can be matched to known instances of Dansburst's account? It's not too difficult, all it requires is changing one setting and then right-clicking on his messages.

I ask because we've already seen an attempt at pushing a faildox and this could easily be faked in multiple ways. New DMs dropping suggesting he's in Florida (or was in that timeframe) after the Rutgers photo raises some questions. Thankfully, the messages will still exist in Discord's archives. They always retain a copy of every message sent, including in DMs, for cases such as this where child predators who have harmed minors try to delete the evidence. I'm not sure how willing the authorities would be to attempt to retrieve them from Discord, since it is an inconvenient process, but it's worth keeping in mind in case the victim starts to feel discouraged about reporting this alleged abuse.

I simply hope the victim knows that nobody here has it out for them or will be upset with them. It's understandable for them to experience a world of anxiety and fear with this situation, but that's what makes them brave and courageous for doing the right thing and turning in their abusers.

One of the ways these predators psychologically trap minors in these cycles is by making them feel like they're participating in something rather than being victimized. The minor will feel like a part of themselves are being similarly condemned because they believe they shared experiences which led to the abuser's incarceration. Predators do these things to the victim, not with them. It's how grooming coerces vulnerable youth into concealing this form of abuse on behalf of the abuser.
