You should look at using the Lists feature, it allows you to essentially follow people without publicly following them. The list even shows up as a timeline aside from the "following" and "for you" timelines
They should be chronological too.

I used to love using Lists until they buried the link in the More submenu; it used to be in the sidebar. I don't use the app. The same thing essentially happened with Display. They took something that wasn't broken and fixed it to make room for features only paying customers use.

No schedule yet, on the last stream Josh was hopeful that there might possibly be a New Years or other annual-wrap up, but we’ll have to see.
