Wait wtf? Are they real electors who voted against their constituent’s wishes and that’s why they were fake electoral votes? Or were they improperly validated electors who cast invalid votes? The article isn’t really clear.

I thought electors were constitutionally protected to vote for whoever they feel like, but the unwritten social contract states that they should vote in accordance with the public’s wishes.

There are no such things as 'fake electors'. That was Democrats politicising the legal system to go after their opponents. Casting alternate elector slates is a perfectly valid and legal method of mounting electoral challenges

They were electors chosen under alternative elector theory who would vote for Trump even though the official results showed Biden's win.

They are not. It is constitutionally permissible to punish electors who vote incorrectly. See CHIAFALO ET AL. v. WASHINGTON 91 U. S. ____ (2020)

I get a lot of DMs asking essentially ‘hey George Lucas, why aren’t you posting funny shitposts anymore?’

I don’t see liberals talking about Trump. I’m not talking about pundits on MSNBC, I’m talking about real people: Redditfags, Aunt Carol, my black neighbors, that guy who works a union job: all of those classic typical libshits who I mock with my libshit bits. They aren’t talking about Trump.

They are still in denial about the election. They have put their heads in the sand. Many of them will only talk about local issues, turning on a lot of Democrats because they view the current Democratic party as causing the loss.

This is also why they are getting into the UHC and drone stories so much. They want to become part of a narrative where they are on the winning side again.

The left is really deflated and Trump has the best opportunity to make a big tent party since Reagan, in my opinion.

Don’t let them hide. Sunlight is the best disinfectant, redpill the desolates when the NPC update hasn’t been pushed to the main branch yet.

It has happened numerous times. For example three faithless Washington electors betrayed Clinton in 2016, forming the aforementioned SCOTUS case. Wikipedia lists 165 faithless electors since 1788 (though many of their claims lack citations)

Overall I’d say a thousand bucks is a small price to pay in order to fuck someone over (in Washington). Call it a civil protest.

That was an interesting read. It was a fairly recent decision in July 2020, right before November when they would’ve cast their votes. Even more interesting to see a unanimous SC ruling with Gorsuch and Thomas fall in with the liberal judges.

Look again, you're voting for Donald Trump's slate of electors in your state. Their names are even listed usually.
