Yeah, it's the thread size. The 510 compatible pen batteries are dirt cheap (usually around $10). Like you said, it's the prefilled disposable THC/CBD oil carts that have the battery built right in (and often can't be recharged, though most can be these days) that can be expensive, especially if you're buying a known high quality oil brand. Some nicotine vape carts, like the refillable glass cartridges, also use 510 threads.

Judging by her post she likely has either good quality, or terrible quality THC carts (depending on her income), and likely found a place to buy a 510 pen battery. I'm gonna guess she's got borderline-fake THC oil carts since she apparently is too much of a walking liability to work, unless she's hooking for money.

Bitch really should be saving her money up and investing instead of wasting it on THC vapes. I enjoy a good THC vape in the winter so I don't have to freeze my dick off outside smoking a bowl, but I work for and invest my money.

Dispensaries sell real weed, however you can buy empty carts online. I remember back when I was in HS, my friends were freaking out because there were drug dealers buying the empty carts from china filling it with like 10% cannabis oil and toping that off with Vegetable oil. Vegetable oil is high in Vitamin E. Vitamin E when vaporized will burn holes in your lungs. Teens were buying the black-market carts and ending up in the ER with collapsed lungs. This problem has never gone away. My buddy still buys this shit, and companies now put a QR code on the side, to ensure it's legit. I'm not sure how that's supposed to stop counterfeits but I don't use them anymore so I don't care.

I'm so glad I dropped this shit, and wish others would do the same. I went from a massive stoner to now I get sick smelling it. I wish it would become illegal again.
