I don't know if you can attribute that to the Syndrome or the fact her parents failed to discipline her for her bullshit. Point is, Emily demands to have her way even if it means defying reality.
To top it off, she is exceptionally stupid. Her reading comprehension is basically non-existent and she struggles to count up to 5. Anything above is a guess. Her memory is also fucked and you could debate for hours as to how much of her bullshit is genuine delusion or just her tactic of trying to control the narrative.
So in the context of SL, she has no critical thought other than she was unfairly banned and needs to be unbanned because everyone is out to get her. Ignore all of her own behaviour and screeching on SL or the fact she was age playing. The narcissism also plays a factor here as she seems to think she was some kind of hotshot in various communities and is entitled to some degree of respect, either due to her contributions that she has made up in her head or due to the simple fact that she is 34 years old so everyone below that age must listen to her.
