I do hope this particular bit was clipped. I am not interested in the older photos of Alyssa’s family or herself, but rather, her reaction when looking at them. She knows she’s a fuck up. She’s definitely self-aware of what she’s doing, and I bet she wistfully looks at these pictures of her younger self, questioning why things ended up the way they did, and what she would do differently if she could go back in time. Then she doubles-down on her trite rhetoric to get her back into the role she’s playing for her meager audience.
