Yes exactly. Surgeons are well aware that any surgery has risks. If a doctor goes straight to a lumbar spine fusion instead of trying other reasonable interventions for at least a year (other medical imaging, physical therapy, WEIGHT LOSS MANAGEMENT, etc etc) and the surgery fails, they're going to have a really fun time explaining to the patients malpractice lawyer why they bypassed (no pun intended) other methods of treatment.

They've gained a small amount of traction over the years but the problem is the ones that start the movement wind up dying of fat related causes so the new ones have to start all over again so it's two steps forward and two steps back each time.

I flew to a place X about 1,5y ago and I had 2 big suitcases included in my base ticket. I'm flying to place X again soon and I had to pay extra just to be able to bring a single suitcase. My husband that happens to be tall is DYING because of lack of space for his legs. It sucks

My schizo theory is that an airline is behind vids like these just to make people point and laugh and go "Oh only fatties would complain about lack of space on a plane"

all of those nickle and dime shitty experience charges are a consequence of you being able to save a couple of bucks.

That show is quite good and the Dr is great. Very polite but honest. Hes doesnt blow smoke up their asses and it seems to work for the patients.

She’d been battling leukaemia for a few years now. She went into remission last year but it came back again this year. For those that don’t recognise her, her husband was a big fat fetishist and they appeared on a TLC show ‘Hot & Heavy’ back in 2020.

They're not 100% wrong in that seats and all that are smaller but that still doesn't address the issue that they can't fit into a seat it's not just because the airline is trying to make money.

I can't fit in a normal airline seat either but I don't think that airlines are prejudiced against tall people. They go by the average. And if you're fatter or taller than average than it's going to suck.

I’m short and quite small, and I think airline seats are cramped. I think back to the first flights I took when I was 20 or so and I could loll about in the seat and almost straighten my legs out in front of me. Everything has got SO much more cramped.
Airlines aren’t prejudiced, they’re just making as much money as they can which means packing people in like battery chickens.

I got on the country-city link bus first, and a fattie managed to climb the steps, push me out of the way as I was paying the fare, and fatly flop her arse into the only disabled seat on the bus. After me a lady with a pram got on the bus, asked her very politely to move, and she point blank refused, claiming she needed that seat more. This meant the woman was forced to stand with her pram for 35 miles through windy hills roads.

Due to my height and not fitting in the standard seats, I would have nabbed that disabled seat as well, had she not shoved me out of the way, but sure as hell I would have given it up for the young mum with the pram. I probably would have given it up for the lardarse as well, because the way she fought off pram lady tells me she would have made a huge scene.
