No, it's not. Liberalism gave the world the United States of America, It gave America the constitution that is the basis of all the freedoms and rights Americans enjoy. Free speech and the right to bare arms are liberal in nature. False. Liberalism did not give the Yanks the Constitution, they ripped off the medieval Magna Carta for that. And when it was founded, the USA only allowed rich landowners to vote. In fact, when actual liberalism showed up with the Jacobins in France, the USA opposed it and even passed the Alien and Sedition Acts against the supporters of the French Revolution.
