The report stated they initially found the gunman in someone's yard in the 1800 block of Home Ave, which is where Nick lives. The gunman then left to a different street where he killed the dogs, and then once again back to Home Ave where he was killed - so, unless he's outright inexplicably lying about the shooter being on his doorstep and calling out to him, Nick was definitely impacted by this. I'll be interested to see what other information comes out about this.

Then why does the police report also state that the suspect was also wanted for a triple murder? That doesn't sound like someone who was just going there to kill Nick. Now was Nick affected by this? Yeah, if he was home he was probably shook up. But to me it seems like, with what evidence we currently have, Nick is trying to insert himself into something he doesn't really have anything to do with.

You are correct, I am a retard and somehow missed the part where it started on home ave. Unfortunately Nick may actually be correct here.

He is. OR the shooter was looking for a hiding place and was asking to be let in.

Is he saying that the police told him that the killer was on his doorstep and calling out his name? Why would the police be close enough to the killer to hear precisely what he was screaming, recognize that the name being screamed belonged to the resident of the household, and then inform Nick about these specific details?

The only reasonable explanations are that he's making it all up or he's got ties to the government which would warrant this special treatment.
