The crossbow gives me an inclination that his motive wasn't anything deeper than he was a pissy liberal that hates "white" supremacists. Something about bringing a crossbow to what would be a murder session while also having a gun just screams faggy, pissy liberal. I can't quite explain why, but that's the sort of vibe it is giving me. But that's just my opinion.
It’s because the crossbow is historically a peasant or woman’s weapon. You just point and shoot. You don’t have to retract the bow or swing a sword - something that requires training and upper body strength.
What's interesting to me is that apparently according to Nick, he's paying 13,000 dollars a WEEK on security to live safely in Chicongo.
For a human being with reason and a functioning brain, it would be a better choice to save money and move somewhere else instead of paying that much on security. He could move to the next neighborhood over and still live in Chiraq without fear of people showing up at his house. It just adds to the mountain evidence that he is a federal agent and is unable to move out of where he is living

I think it is fair to assume a man who gets themselves killed after randomly deciding to kill people may not be the most rational of individuals, so getting cucked by a door probably isn't really a significant factor for determining any of this guys motivations.
Exactly. People forget that Elliot Rodger and Richard Chase were cucked by doors. Rodger knocked on a sorority door and, when no one answered, got mad and left go drive around Isla Vista. Chase, employing classic vampire logic, refused to enter homes with operating locks because he felt that was proof he was not welcome.
It’s insane, but it makes more sense when you consider that most rampage killers just want a high kill count. They’re agitated and every second they spend waiting for some dude to come to the door feels like time they could be finding a random pedestrian to murk. Didn’t the shooter come back to Nick’s house? That makes me think “murderous efficiency” was on his mind.
